Based on homestars reviews I called the company and had a same day appointment scheduled which was appreciated. The service man Raffi came and for the cost of $100 diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor that would need to be replaced. Given that it was a compressor problem only I decided to exchange the piece on my own.

Thanks Ather Hasan, for another well-performed A/C maintenance! We are loyal Cosmopolitan A/C and furnace maintenance customers, and always happy with Mr. Ather Hasan as our service specialist. Our Lennox air conditioner was installed by Cosmopolitan, and we call every fall and spring for furnace and A/C preventive maintenance. I appreciate Ather's customer oriented approach, technical expertise (I'm an engineer myself), and always helpful recommendations. Our AC was not cooling at all, so we were not sure if it was the refrigerant inside or what the issue was. Ather was the Technician who came by and he was very knowledgeable. The AC is an old unit of 15-18 years, but I was not ready to change this year although it may come in the next year or so. Ather ran a diagnostic and was fairly quick and accurate in his assessment. He did a cleaning of the coils on each side and after he finished the repair, the air coming out of the AC vents was cold again. The only draw back is that this repair cost $270 + tax for a service that was 1-3/4 hrs (w/o parts replacement). Ather was also suppose to get back to me with some replacement filter sizes that would fit the space for the electrostatic filters that we have, but he never called back...

Great Service - Great Team. Arranged a home call quickly (much appreciated in the heat of July). They turned up when they said they would. Fast, efficient, friendly. Did a great job and explained everything. Walked through my options with no pressure selling. Ather Hasan reviewed my old (failed) system and the replacement options. The installation team worked fast, they were quiet and clean. They made sure everything worked properly with me before leaving. I have no hesitation in recommending these guys. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

I have been very happy Cosmopolitan customer for five years. I receive regular updates to have my furnace and AC serviced and their technicians are always top notch. I always request Ather Hasan who takes his time to explain each step in the service process and remembers my machine and it's maintenance history year-to-year. Ather Hasan is an outstanding technician. Professional, courteous, punctual and very friendly. I cannot say enough great things about him. He has serviced both our furnace and AC unit (which we purchased from Cosmopolitan) for the past 3 years. He gives helpful advice on how to maintain both units so they operate to their most efficient capacity and longevity. Ather Hasan was sent to perform my annual furnace maintenance and he was very thorough and detailed, explaining the steps and looking very carefully for any problems associated with the motor that may be causing a disturbing whistle. One of the problems was a filter that was too dense which was changed and eliminated the noise. Mr. Hasan was respectful, courteous and well-informed. I would highly recommend his work and the company.
