He left us with pictures, a folder and a summary of vital information we can use to forestall repairs and maximize the soundness of our house. When you had initially called me and had told me your situation, I truly did not realize the extensive damage that I would be looking at. On the inspection, as I was looking around, I thought to myself, "Why do bad things sometimes happen to such nice people?" However, I could see that you and your husband are far too strong to allow something like this to bring you down in life. I could see that you goal was now to focus on the positive side of things and move forward. No point and dwelling on the negative. I'm sure that when it's all said and done, that the whole thing will be not necessarily forgotten about, (although that would be nice) but you've simply moved forward. Yes, I do base my fees on the size of the home. Here’s one for you, some inspectors base their fees on the value of the home.
