We've been living with clanky pipes and/or 20 minute refill time for the tank on the toilet for over a year now. The problem finally needed to be nipped in the bud but we've been wary of hiring a plumber as we've heard the stories. Based on the homestars reviews, we called Flavio who gave us a guess over the phone on what the problem was as well as an estimate and came right over. The problem was fixed immediately. Why did we wait so long?

During an extremely cold Saturday in December, our water pipe burst in the garage. We had a plumbing plan with Direct Energy, but they would not come before Monday! Who could wait until then with no water? So we checked Homestars, and found the glowing reviews on Flavio. We called him that night at 11:00 pm and he came the very next day. He assessed the situation and explained what needed to be done in the short term. He also explained that we needed a long term solution once the warmer weather arrived. He fixed the leak in the garage, then when we tested it, we found another leak in a hard to reach place under the kitchen sink. He fixed that too. Hours later, we finally had running water again. Flavio was able to help us in our emergency and we were very happy. We'd recommend his services to anyone with a plumbing problem or emergency.

Thank you Flavio for getting rid of the loud plumbing noises! We can finally get some peace and quiet! Last month, Flavio came to assess the noises we were experiencing throughout the house whenever the faucets, showers, toilets and washing machine were being used. He inspected and took time to show us the root of noises was caused by the newly installed water heater. He then provided us with a solution for the fix. He told us to contact our water heater provider for servicing as well as what we should ask them to fix. Afterwards, he followed up with us to make sure our problem was fixed and the noises were gone. Thanks again!

I was unimpressed with my current plumber because I was beginning to feel that I was getting ripped off. I went on Homestars and read so many glowing reviews about Flavio, so I decided to give it a try. The first time I called Canada Wide, I spoke directly to Flavio. Later, when I had to call him and he couldn't answer he returned my calls right away. The quote he gave me over the phone was bang-on with the actual amount charged. He was quick, experienced and polite...and humble when I gave him a little tip for his work. Also, his price is right. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a bathroom sink which had become detached from its drain causing leaking whenever the sink was used. I also needed a "toe-tester" in the shower replaced and needed to relocate the hose-bib in the garage.

I didn't know of a good plumber and didn't have a reference for a plumber, so I turned to HomeStars. Flavio had an exceptional 9.9 rating, so I decided to give him a try. Flavio came by that very same day.

He was professional, personable, and explained what he was doing in layman terms so it was easy to understand. He also made some recommendations around relocating the hose-bib so I could save money.

I called Canada Wide with two plumbing problems: a stuck kitchen sink that would not drain, and a bathroom sink that drained slowly.
Trivial, right? Well, these problems have been ongoing for years with various attempts to fix them.

Flavio responded promptly to my call, came over the same day, and immediately set to work. After many hours of watching Holmes on Homes I got a feeling that the kitchen drain was incorrectly built and causing the poor/no drainage. First thing he did, he removed the incorrectly built drain system under the kitchen sink and rebuilt it correctly. He explained the rationale for the change and every step he took to resolve the problem. Now the sink drains better than it ever has - problem resolved.

In the bathroom, he took the time to figure out what exactly was wrong, and he fixed it, too. It sounds so simple, but two other plumbers had looked at this with no resolution. And then he took the extra step of figuring out why I had poor flow from the faucet, and fixed that too! I didn't even have to ask!

Flavio will be my choice for any future plumbing needs. I will definitely have him back when we get to the kitchen and bathroom renovations we have planned.

I have been given the run around from the Company that owns my hot water tank and was instructed to have a plumber replace the mixing valve. Flavio was recommended by your web site. Flavio came out to investigate a number of issue I have been having and did 3 times what other plumbers had done previously for less money. Flav came out again and replaced the mixing value, perfect fast clean job!
