Burglar Stop

My wife shopped around for an alarm company and decided on this one due to their good reviews, low monthly monitoring cost and inexpensive installation. They came by and installed the keypad and all the other alarm items in a morning. The installers were clean and professional. We got signs and stickers. We've triggered the alarm accidentally several times and we got phone calls from the company within minutes to check that everything is okay.

The service we received from the beginning to the end of our home alarm installation was excellent. A consultant came to our house and gave very honest suggestions as to what may/may not work best. He took the time to explain everything to us. When you dial through to the company, your call gets answered right away. Our technician was great as well; very courteous and answered all of our questions; cleaned up well afterwards as well. Called around for various quotes from different companies and decided to go with Burglar Stop. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with the installation and service received from Burglar Stop. From start to finish along with a follow up customer service call they are truly professional. They really took the time to review procedures and made sure we were comfortable with our system.

I got this alarm company as had high reviews on home stars website. We had a few teething problems however Rick was very quick to take care of it. He is very approachable when you call him.

Burglar stop is great. I bought some monitoring equipment from them and did my own installations about five/ six years ago. They provided me with really great service. Any questions or concerns I had they were able to answer. I also had a few hiccups with the equipment in the beginning but they dealt with that immediately. Just working with Danny and the overall company was a positive experience. I’m thinking of putting in some new sensors at my place and I’ll definitely be using Burglar stop again.

This is a great company! I have been with Burglar Stop for 20+ years, and have always had a positive experience with them. When I move and need a new Alarm System installed in my home I always call Burglar Stop. When they come to install they are very professional and take the time to explain anything that I have questions on. Dan, the owner is just great he is always very friendly and responsive when I call in. I have no complaints about this company in fact I always recommend them to my friends and family.

My family and I use Burglar Stop for our businesses and home. Lately we have been having issues with our store alarm going off constantly throughout the day. When I contacted Burglar Stop they told me there is nothing they can do about my problem and that I need to check the phone line. The problem is not with the phone line it is with their alarm system, I have called numerous times about this issue and have yet to receive any assistance on their end. Their service has really gone down hill lately....perhaps they are under new management. I will be calling today to cancel all of our contracts and will be starting fresh with a new company.
Update- Thank you Rick for fixing the problems with our alarms. I hope we will be doing business for a very long time

I have been a customer of Burglar Stop for 20+ years. Over the last few decades I have enlisted their services for both home and business. My most recent encounter with Burglar Stop was when they came in to update our very outdated system . They replaced the old access pad as well as the alarm sensors - this cost was roughly $400.00, but needed to be done as our current system was approx. 15 years old. My experience with Burglar Stop has always been positive, they are consistent, responsive, on time, courteous, easy to work with, and always reliable. All qualities that are so important to have when using a company to monitor your home and safety. All in all this is an excellent company and I highly recommend them.

I moved into a place that already had a system installed but needed advice about the best set-up. I did some research on line and called 3 different companies. One of them I called 3 times, each time they asked me to leave my contact details so a sales representative would call me back. They never did. Another one wanted me to pay a full year and explained that if nor cancelled in advance, before 1st year term, they would charge me automatically for another full year.
When I contacted Burglar Stop, Dan set up an appointment the very next day and walked me through a few options. He was extremely helpful and nice to deal with. Other companies would charge me a set-up cost even when I already had a system installed. With Burglar Stop I did not have to pay for the initial technician visit, only for the additional panel I purchased. John the installer was also very pleasant to deal with. I would recommend Burglar Stop to anyone who wants a great service at a good price.

Burglar stop installed an alarm system for both my home and business. They also monitor both of the alarm systems on a monthly basis. Burglar Stop provides amazing and friendly customer service! I am not always the most organized when it comes to paying my bills on time - which is why I love their automatic payment system. They take the payments out of my account every month automatically. From time to time when there is an issue with the funds in the account they are quick to give me a call to remind me about the payment, they are always very friendly and understanding. I have used other alarm systems in the past, but these guys blow them all out of the water!
