Dont do business with this store - Appliances
We had a broken dishwasher, and my wife needed a replacement asap as she cannot manually wash the dishes due to skin eczema. We purchased a new dishwasher from this store (Dundas street) as they had it in stock and promised delivery within a couple of days. Bad boy staff recommended a 3rd party installer and gave me his contact details. I called this installer and he informed me that if the dishwasher is defective, he would still charge me for the visit. Upon delivery, I visually inspected the dishwasher and it seemed to be ok; However, when the installer came to install a couple of days later, they found a dent that was very hard to spot and informed me that the dishwasher is defective. He did not install it, but charged me 80 dollars for the visit. I contacted bad boy showroom to get a replacement and they did not help, they simply asked me to contact customer service, which i did. I requested to replace the dishwasher asap and provide me a refund for the 80 dollars i paid for the installer. The customer service lady told me that they cannot guarantee a replacement any time soon, and that they have to go back to the manufacturer to check that, and that they would not refund me the installation fee stating that i should have checked the appliance upon delivery, my reply was quite simple, that what if the appliance had an electrical defect or an internal defect that could not be visually identified, would they refund me the money, and she said no. At that point I said that i am going to complain about this, and the customer service lady replied in a very rude manner that i can go ahead and complain to whoever I want. Now we are stuck, We dont know when a new dishwasher will be delivered, my wife is suffering because of manual dishwashing, and I lost the 80 dollars installation fees. I learned my lesson. This is the first and last time I do business with this store, they took my money and left me hanging out to dry.

After I wrote the above review, a reply on this website was posted by badboy saying that they would like to help me and that my complaint was forwarded to the concerned person. People be aware, this reply is only cosmetic to try and give the impression that they would like to make things right. NOBODY called me or emailed me back. I took the initiative and called the service manager multiple times, and she was not available at any time to take my call !!!!!! i left voice mail, and i left a message with the operator for her to call me back, and nobody ever called me back. This is the most pathetic customer service ever. A customer service person over the phone told me its not their fault that the new dishwasher i bought from them was delivered broken, and that i need to contact the manufacturer MYSELF directly to sort this out. After I gave up on badboy to help me out, i called the manufacturer myself (GE) and filed a service request, and i am still waiting for their reply to replace the broken dishwasher. My next step is to file a complaint with the consumer protection authority. PEOPLE BE AWARE FROM THIS SHOP, IF YOU BUY SOMETHING AND IT TURNS OUT TO BE DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY, YOU WILL BE FACED WITH THE MOST HORRIBLE SUPPORT/CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS INSTITUTION AGAIN.
