8 months ago, Atlas replaced a DC motor on furnace, and since then, there has been a whistle noise at Continuous speed, and Low Heat which was scretching at times and audible 2 floors away, in the night.
About 8 service calls later, 2 replacement motors (not the problem), and a new circuit board, and the problem continured until today, 7 months later. Great service on a non standard problem. Excellent team of technicians and Service Leaders. They all tried and never gave me hastle over my continued requests for service. Peter came today, and took a very analytical view of the problems, and
1. Found the AC had not been correctly wired to the new board
2. took each fan speed noise problem - one at a time - and tested what changes in the fan settings would make to each fan speed level - AND today (and hopefully for ever) we have no whistle noise anywhere in our house - nowhere.
