Artistic Impressions Landscaping

Tina and Charles run a great landscaping company. They have bent over backwards to make everything perfect. They always have solutions to our questions. A depth of knowledge and design that is hard to find! I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Tina and Charles provided great service from initial contact through project completion. They were punctual for all appointments and easy to reach at all times. Tina provided conceptual drawings with the quotation so we could visualize what was being suggested. Their hardworking staff completed the planting of our front and back gardens in 2 days; working through heat on the first day and some rain on the second. After reaching out to 5 companies through HomeStars mid-April to have just 1 quotation 6 weeks later, it was such a pleasure to deal with Artistic Impressions. In 33 days we went from initial contact to completed project. We love our new gardens and have received many compliments already.

The approximate cost covers the sum of 3 separate projects spanning almost just over 7 years time.
The first project was our front walkway where we were very impressed with the artistry in the design its efficient and elegant implementation. We researched other companies but only Charles of Artistic Impressions did not shy away from recycling the flag stone we had in great quantity on our front property. They were able to reuse it throughout our property in a much more beautiful way than it had been. It was so well put together we had them come back to fix our ugly backyard. Again, super efficient, courteous labourers and a great eye for detail. They are currently working on our property to add to our backyard patio and promise to complete the work in record time. We recommend Artisitic Impressions Landscaping very highly.

When I purchased my current home I needed suggestions for both short and long term projects. I contacted Artistic Impressions for a consultation and was not disappointed. Artistic Impressions is a family owned business and as such it wasn't unusual throughout the process to see either or both owners, Charles and Tina Martin, . I really felt "looked after" They came before, during and after the project. One of the short term projects included 60 feet of cedar hedging and a garden in front. My soil was beautifully prepared and once the cedars were planted they buried my soaker hose in 4 inches of rich mulch. 2 months later there's not a weed in sight and the hedge looks awesome. The job was completed quickly and professionally. Their employees were respectful and competent. I look forward to the longer term projects with Artistic Impressions. Thanks Tina and Charles for a great experience. (BTW our Robin in Residence has enjoyed perching on the company sign in the evenings. Right from the very first night! )

We had our small front yard landscaped, new lawn and interlock. The soil used was so unacceptable, full of weeds and grubs although Charles suggested we were not watering which is ridiculous. We had to pay for a new lawn after 1 yr. at the tune of $500.00. the brickwork is lovely however weeds coming through need to be dealt with at least weekly. Design of the garden lovely. To date we have lost several plants (which can happen). However, I did plant some annuals and they will not grow in the garden. Have a lawn company in regularly now trying to solve the problems created by deeply substandard soil. Perhaps they accidentally received poor soil, however as business owners ourselves we understand that you must deal with the problems that you have created.

I received a quote from them which was 20 to 25% lower than the competition and when I checked other local projects that they did in my area I felt the quality of their work was as good or better than anyone elses. In the end that's why I chose them...they did top notch quality work and the price was excellent.

First, let me say this was a few years ago and perhaps they have improved with time.
Charles was great upfront, he listended to our needs + the design done by his wife was great so we decided to hire them. It was downhill from there -the execution fell flat.

There were 2 curved steps of paving stone and complete paving stone backyard surrounding the pool, with flower bed border.

The curved parts created quite a problem for them.
The steps and the paving stone coping around the pool was not cut properly, leaving big gaps in the fit for both steps and pool surround - the sand all came out into the pool before it was complete. They had to come back to apply caulking to all the coping stone. But the gaps from poor cut calculations remained. The best plan doesn't matter if the crew can't execute it.

we redid our complete back yard. obtained several quotes and chose artistic impressions. they did not let us down. stone work and garden design is beautiful and we are very pleased with the outcome. only negative was building of a kitchen bar in the back yard which took longer than planned but that was minor relative to the entire job done. would heartily recommend.
