Anna's Housekeeping Services

I have used them for the last 2 years and I have been disappointed over and over again. they are unreliable, unprofessional, and mislead you in every way. The owner Anna has a lousy attitude and absolutely does understand the value of customer service. my last experience was horrific where the cleaner was on the phone the whole time and barely cleaned a floor of the house in 4 hours. waste of money and time. I would highly recommend not to use them. better to give business to a company who values their long term clients.

I've used Anna's for over 2 yrs now and have been very pleased with the service. The ladies, in particular: Olga, Evana and Alicia have all been good, very accommodating, efficient and pleasant. I am quite particular and like things done a certain way, with special cleaners for my TV/computer screens used and I have multiple ornaments and a picture wall that requires gentle cleaning. I explain how I like it done and they have ALL been accommodating.
Frankly I don't understand the bad reviews, these ladies work hard and the price is very reasonable. I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted to keep them to myself, but it's not fair for the company/the staff to be bashed in such a way. No one is perfect, but my experience has been good. If you are not happy with your cleaning lady, ask them to send you someone else or perhaps you wouldn't be happy with anyone and maybe you just need to clean your place yourself?
I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo and my lady comes for 5 hours.

I highly recommend AGAINST using this company. Their website states that the minimum is $60 for 3hrs service. But when i called to request it, they said nope, the minimum is $80 for 4hrs. They also said first time visits HAD to be 4hrs in length, no matter what, which is not stated anywhere on their website. In addition, their customer service is atrocious. I spoke to the manager Irene, who was incredibly rude and unprofessional. All in all, a very poor experience.

HORRIBLE service. I have been using them for 4yrs on and off thinking "next time will be better", as i prefer to just stick to one company. I used their services today and it will be the last time. I called to book a clean up for 3hrs which is the minimum on their website. That costs $60 because they are $20/hr. But Anna refused saying instead she will send me two people that would work for two hrs and i have to pay them $80. I told her i only needed one person for three hrs but she refused. Saying $80 is their minimum. Also on their website it says they have grocery shopping, meal preparation and other such services. I inquired about that and she said "No, no. We don't have that!". I asked her why it was on their website and she just shouted "NO. We don't do that."

Ok. So today the two people that were supposed to come in, came an hour early. Telling me they had a Dr.'s appointment so they had to come early. By the way, they were a couple. So they came in and asked me for house slippers to wear. Saying they wanted the type i was wearing. I said i didn't have any extras. They asked me if i had such and such cleaning supplies and i told them they were supposed to bring their own and they said, "No. we never bring our own.". Previous cleaners from this company brought at least a few things but this couple brought NOTHING. I said but it's on your website that you bring your own supplies. They shrugged and said no.

When i took them around the house to let them know where to clean i kept getting dirty looks. Especially from the man. He kept asking me "How many floors do we have to clean?" & looking at me like someone stuck cow dung under his nose. Each room i showed them, they had that face. I told them they didn't have to do my room. Just the floor of one room, the master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen floor, parlor floor and basement room floor. For what they are getting paid this was actually very little. Yet i heard them calling Anna to complain. After 1nad a half hrs, they were done. I went to inspect and they didn't even mop anything, they didn't do they basement at all, didn't mop the any of the floors, didn't arrange the master bed, or do the floor. Terrible clean up of the bathrooms, Didn't clean the kitchen counters, or oven counter. They basically spent all that time doing nothing but talking to each other in their language, and being on the phone. When i confronted them about some of the parts that were still dirty, they started swearing on their lives that they cleaned and mopped those places. Esp. the basement and i could see that there was still dust and dirt EVERYWHERE. They didn't touch that basement at all. But they kept swearing to God and whatnot so i just paid them and let them go.

Every time her workers have such terrible attitudes and do such a poor job that i'm fed up and never using her services again. I made this account just to write this review. Very poor customer service. Don't use this service!!

Very disappointed. Maids complained that they did not have proper supplies, but I was told they would come with everything they needed. They only vacuumed and dusted "around" - did not lift rugs or move dining chairs, etc to vacuum or move items on shelves to
dust. They did not attempt to clean anything above their height. Although I expressed my concerns to the maids, no one from their office followed up, and even though it was their first visit, Anna did not get in touch afterwards to get my feedback. Use a company that does a precleaning visit to assess needs.

I have been a customer of Anna's Housekeeping Services for nearly 20 years. I have always been pleased with the service. The maids we've had tend to stay with the company for awhile, so we have generally had the same person come to clean our home every two weeks for a couple of years (until that person moves on); if our regular maid isn't available, Anna's sends someone else. The maids are well trained, start and finish on time, and leave the house spotless. When we moved a few years ago, we had Anna's come and clean the old house so it would be ready for the new owners; when they moved in, the wife actually phoned me in tears because she was so happy with the clean and shiny condition of the home and the appliances. Anna's Housekeeping is reliable and customer focused. Any issues I've reported have been dealt with promptly. The proprietress is professional, knowledgeable, responsive and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for good home cleaning at a reasonable price.

I found Anna's Housecleaning services very effective. A couple - Tricia & Sean were sent to our house to clean after renovations. They asked us what we wanted done, and were able to manage the work within 2 hours. They were quick but thorough and we would use their services again anytime. We highly recommend Anna's Housekeeping Services for anyone who would like their house cleaned.

Warning. Do not use this service. When they tell you to have a mop, vacuum cleaner and toilet bowl cleaner and toilet brush and they will provide the rest, it is NOT true. They did not have a broom or stainless steel cleaner, only an all purpose cleaner that clearly could not even remove grease left on cupboards above the stovetop. And get this, they are not meant to use chairs to reach high shelves but are only meant to clean as high as they can reach. I have NEVER received such poor customer service in my life. The person on switchboard did nothing to console. I warn you against this service. Beyond dreadful.

I recently started to use Anna's Housekeeping Services and I am quite happy with the service they provide. Inna comes bi-weekly and she's punctual, trustworthy and does a thoughrough job. I already recommended AHS to my friends.

Anna's provides professional, courteous service. The house is always spotless after Elena's bi-weekly visit. We'd tried other cleaners and are happiest with Anna's. Even the replacement cleaners they send if we need something extra are very thorough.
