Came in with the cheapest price quote, although the lady on the phone says she is a secretary she really is a good sales person. She had me convinced that they would match the quality of work of another slightly higher priced quote I received -- i.e. that they followed a very similar process...sanding three times, wood filler, staining, seal, sand, seal, sand.

All-type Flooring came in and sanded my old strip wood flooring and stained it an inconsistent (between rooms, not sure if they ran out and used another stain colour) ebony stain ...left nice noticeable swirl marks in areas, did not fill in small and large holes, and left nice lumpy patches of sealant in particular areas.

They left my house without cleaning up the sanding dust (didn't clean sawdust off of windows and doors before applying the sealan, broke a light receptacle, and left two doors off the hinges.

I called them to ask of them to replace the light receptacle, and to fix the lumpy areas, and fix the holes they didn't fill... I booked an appointment for them to come back, but they did not show.

Overall the job doesn't look that bad (more like a DIY result), but I am left feeling unsatisfied as I paid for their professional service. I strongly recommend against using their services as they lack accountability and blatantly over promise on quality to win the business.

We had All-Type Hardwood Flooring come in and refinish our floors, however, what they did was ruin them. They offered to come back to fix it, after saying what caused the damaged (they suggested the painter, the mover or anyone else they would like to name) caused the damange, but they actually used the wrong product. We had to get someone else it to fix there screw up, they did not return phone calls and stated to hang up! All I can say - STAY AWAY!

Well, we had them coming as we took over our house. The mistake was that we should've had them come weeks before, to give us time to choose someone else. They use the Minwax Wood Stains brand of stain (yellow container) in Jacobean 2750, brought factory samples, which DO NOT match at all the actual stain that your floor will end up with. It looks exactly like their Dark Walnut. I have seen Oak floors with much darker stains than this, so I'm not sure what it is, the workmanship or the stain brand. Anyway, we're "kinda" getting used to the stain, but it's not 100% what we wanted. We had them install laminate in one room in the basement, thank God it's not a main room. A different installer did that, with horrible matching ... lots of unnecessary cutting of the laminate which resulted in many pieces, making for a very busy look. I'm not sure if can post pictures later here, but I will try to post pictures of the actual workmanship.

Hired this company to sand and refinish existing hardwood flooring and to install new hardwood flooring to match existing. Did a good job on the sanding and refinishing but used wrong product on new installation. When asked to re-do the floors with correct product, received no response, would not return emails. Very disatisfied.
