Repair Dishwasher

Scam Artists. I believe they make money on the service charge and then move on. Clearly they know little or nothing about repairing appliances. They get you with a very low service call fee and then move on after taking your money. Avoid them like the plague. How can you prosecute these people? Sandra R (the Service Manager??) is the ringleader.

Refrigeration repair

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. (OTHER THAN RIPPING YOU OFF)

They do not show up when they promise to. They do not keep their word on pricing. They do not perform the repairs (because they do not know how to).

They are scam artists and crooks. This is the worst experience of custormer service I've every had. I hope one day they find this menace and put her behind bars.

She hangs up the phone when you call to inquire about your service and acts as if you're the rude party.

I have many nasty things I would like to say about this so-called business but my girlfriend is asking me to refrain.

Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

Repair Consultation for Oven & Dishwasher

This "company" is a prime example of what TERRIBLE customer service is and an absolute failure on following through with what they claimed they could do. After booking an appointment TWO DAYS PRIOR to needing a repair done on a dishwasher and oven, the "service technician" (and I use that term VERY loosely) showed up TWO HOURS LATE. Upon calling to find out where they were, we were called back and then rudely hung up on. When they arrived to the residence, they did not fix anything but still took the money for the "consultation fee"....which ended up being more than what was quoted on the phone. After calling them back to find out why there was an over charge and nothing done, the dispatcher would not let us get a word in edgewise, did not offer an explanation of any sort, and then told us the "there would be no next time" for them to "help" us out. Apparently, we were inconvenicing them by hoping they would do their job and unfortunately won't be "graced with their presence" again. Thanks for nothing! The last time I checked, customer service is exactly that: servicing the customer. All Canada Appliance did NOTHING of the sort. Their number is 905-426-3313. Save yourself the time, aggravation, and MONEY and don't bother calling. They are a scam and a poor excuse for a repair company. Unfortunately, they are tarnishing the reputations of honest, reliable organizations. I guess there is always a bad apple within the bushel.

Fridge repair

We cannot believe the runaround this company has given us. We hired All Canada to fix a fridge, the first time they came a day later than arranged, there were 2 repairmen. They read the instructions while the attempted the repairs. I feel like such a sucker for letting them continue, and for paying them. I should know by now to never pay in full until I am satisfied with the results. As if the 'reading the instructions' wasn't enough of a sign, they also lit the back of the fridge on fire with the blow torch at one point. They claimed that this was a temporary fix and another technician would be back the following Monday to complete the job with the right part. I won't bore you with the details, but they have since sent several other people, never kept an appointment and still, 7 days later have not fixed our fridge.
Is anyone aware of any means of recourse when a company commits so much fraud? obviously, by the comments below, this family knows what they are up to. I looked up their office on Google Maps, and it is a family home in Scarborough. Any suggestions?

THE JOB LASTED FOR ABOUT ONE WEEK
had to call them back again to finally complete the repair
gave us a hard time with the warranty of their services

Repair defrost problem with fridge/freezer

The company charged me for parts that they didn't even replace. Left me a box of phony parts that weren't even from my fridge. This goes beyond bad service - this is illegal. I'm contacting the Consumer Protection Agency about them and I urge anyone else with a similar experience to do the same. (Two weeks later, the freezer wasn't working again because basically all this company did was manually defrost my freezer. They repaired nothing)

Stove repair

The company was contacted to repair faulty burners on my built-in range top. While checking the current, the technician caused a short and a flash electrical fire ensued. That should have been a sign that we were dealing with incompetence. Fortunately, there was no external damage. The technician determined the parts required and left to acquire them, taking some of the faulty parts with him. He was to contact me later that day to install. We had to make several phone calls before the technician returned more than a week later. Not once did the company call us with the status. He installed the parts including new elements. However, one of the elements failed to work and the same connection that was not working prior to his repair, continues to not work.

Each call to the "dispatch" is met with broken promises of when the technician will call back. She basically. In addition, requests to have the technician call me so I can explain the problem are fielded by a very rude receptionist / dispatcher who appears to never pass on the request.

I have paid more than $300 for parts and service and the same problems exist.

I have since checked the BBB and there are 15 unresolved complaints against this company as of March 2008.

BEWARE!!!

Dryer repair

This so called 'company' is an absolute disgrace. We called to have our dryer repaired. They took money from us before they did the work (my mistake in trusting them.) Then didn't show up to do the work. I had to call them day after day after day after day which was very upsetting for me and my wife. Every day they said they would come and did not. Finally they showed up and did the 'minor' repair. They wouldn't give a receipt... and, just as the other person who wrote in, the dryer only worked twice and broke down. Now they when I call, they keep promising to come out but never show up. We want to post this in the hopes that other seniors aren't taken by these people.

Dryer repair

For some reason, the "owner" or manager accompanied the technician on the visit. The technician got me alone and said he'd put in an extra part if I gave him cash, but not to tell the boss. Stupid me, I did it. The repair didn't last and I had to get another company to redo the work. Oh, for an honest repair company!!

Dryer repair

I contacted All Canada Refrigeration when my dryer stopped working. Their response time was short in sending someone over to diagnose the problem. When (my wife) authorized the repairs, they replaced one part (the starter switch, which was sufficient to fix the dryer). They charged for three other parts (which they did not replace) and the associated labour.

I called later and talked with Sandra to request an explanation for the charges. She yelled at me and told me to repair it myself if I knew so much. That was pretty much all the "customer service" I have received from them.
