Hamido started our rug shopping experience off on the right foot by showing us options and helping us make great choices. David then followed up at home for quick measurements and details required for the installation. We then had an expert installer by the name of Hussin who is an expert at his trade and was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you all very much we are delighted!

I love how the business card reads " for superior customer service". I beg to differ. From the time we selected a few samples,( which one of them that we requested was wrong and we had to correct the associate) to purchasing 19 boxes of SIGNATURE FLOORING to finally returning 9 unopened boxes of Signature flooring... we did not receive this treatment/respect. The representative was less than helpful when we encountered an installation issue with this SIGNATURE product, as my husband was required to explain the proper installation process of the product to not one but two "SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" ASSOCIATES. (My husband was installing it himself and knew without a doubt that he was completing this task correctly.) He was required to bring in the installation directions so that the associates had a BETTER UNDERSTANDING of the installation procedures!!!
The product does not fit together tightly and we were not happy with how the ends did not line up...who actually wants to see the ends showing on their SIGNATURE FLOORING. When we asked for a refund..they were unwilling to provide assistance. I would have thought that they would have stood behind their products, especially when it was a SIGNATURE (Mystic Peak-3) flooring. We requested the representatives come to our house to view the installed product as it was our hope that they would be respectful and value their product and allow us to get a full refund. The associates continued to be less than helpful in satisfying a customer and we were only permitted to return the unopened boxes. Yes, I am grateful that a least they allowed that since we will not be keeping the product down on our floors. Upon returning the products the yet again "SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" representatives did not offer to assist with the unloading of the product...they just watched. Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish. I am very disappointed with the companies return policy and I will never shop her or recommend this flooring company moving forward. It is pretty sad when people shop around, spend their hard earned money, take the time to understand and install the product only to be completely disappointed.

Please note: the company response is inaccurate as the appropriate installation of the subfloor was completed prior to first installing the flooring. The installation of the flooring was not successful in the first room that we started...it did not look "perfect" and we did not start to install in an adjacent room because the flooring did not install properly in the first room. Why would we continue with a flooring throughout the house if we were unhappy with the first room. There was not adjacent room subflooring to measure or look at.

I recently ordered carpet for my office from Alexanian Carpet & Flooring at 4884 Dufferin Street in Toronto and was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful service I received.

Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted and helped by Frank. Since buying carpet can be overwhelming, Frank explained the options that were available and made the transaction easy. Plus the price quoted was cheaper than other stores!

Everything from placing the order to the installation was done in a quick and professional manner. I cannot say enough good things about Frank and his staff. I am planning on going back to Alexanian when I start my home renovation project!!

I was in a hurry and needed a carpet quickly as I was headed out of the city. We ordered the carpet on a Friday and they were able to secure it and custom cut it for me on Monday!! This was extraordinary service and I absolutely love the carpet!! I highly recommend them because of their amazing selection of carpets, their customer friendly and helpful service and their willingness to go above and beyond.

Thank you David for your attention and help with our project. Installers were very professional. Everyone arrived as promised and completed the work on time.
Followup inspection after was as promised also.

In order to sell an investment property, I wanted to have new carpeting (throughout most of the house) and vinyl flooring (in the kitchen and bathrooms) installed. I heard that Alexanian had a good deal on carpet so I went to their Industrial Avenue location in Ottawa. I dealt with a gentleman named Roland. He took the time to come to the property and gave me excellent advice on what to choose in terms of the quality and colour of carpeting and vinyl flooring. He also gave me a price that I was very pleased with. I wanted the installation to take place quickly as I wanted the house on the market asap. There were a few hiccups with the installation but Roland was very good at addressing these issues. I would recommend Alexanian and especially Roland to anyone seeking new flooring, and I would not hesitate to go back. Thanks Roland !

I have used Alexanian's Leaside store twice over the last year and have been extremely happy with the results. Hank was very helpful with selecting the area rugs / carpet and planning the installation. Luciano and Sam came this week and were on time, very organized and did a professional job. I would use this Alexanian's location again and would recommend it to others.

We just completed the installation of vinyl click flooring in the kitchen and laundry room. We dealt with Val in sales at the Burlington store and he was excellent for service and took the time to have our cabinets floor trim color matched. In the summer we had 900 square feet of carpet installed by Zafar, an excellent installer who took his time and was very professional.
Last week was the final phase for our work and Mike and Dave did the installation of Mannington click vinyl flooring in the kitchen and laundry. These 2 guys were the best and went the distance to make sure we were very happy.

I called Alexanian’s to book have our basement carports cleaned and the runners on the stairs cleaned. when the cleaner showed, he tried to up sell us on a deep clean. If we didn’t sign up for the deep clean then he couldn’t guarantee that stains would come out.

We were not told this when the initial call was placed. Otherwise we probably would have went with another company. The fact that they leave it up to the cleaner to up sell at the time when he arrives is misleading.

We did not go for the up sell and explained to the cleaner (none of this was his fault) that it would have been nice to have been told this while on the phone dying booking. He said they use to tell customers this but do not anymore.

The results of the clean were not good and we were left with areas that remained stained/discoloured.

Advice, ask questions about the deep clean and the up sell if you choose to use this company. We will not use them again.

We went to all big box and several specialized flooring stores in London, Ont. to look for hardwood floor for our living room. We decided to buy it from the Alexanian Carpet & Flooring because of their excellent flooring selection and pricing but mainly thanks to their sales associate, Crystal. During our first visit to the store, Crystal gave us so much information and education about hardwood floors, which helped significantly in making our decision. We were impressed with her willingness to share that knowledge and time with us, without any guarantees that we're going to buy anything. (We just came to look, as we did everywhere else.)
When we reduced our selection to three floors, Crystal gave us those three sample boards to take home and see which one we would like the best. After almost a week of deliberation, we decided on the beautiful Signature Hickory Homestead engineered hardwood, which not only looked great but was also on sale at the time. After visiting us to take all the measurements in our living room, Crystal e-mailed us a detailed pre-order summary, with a breakdown of the cost for every piece of the material and labour. We realized the overall price was a bit more than we originally planned but decided to go with the full order anyway.
A couple of weeks later, the floor was delivered and installed. We certainly didn't regret our decision, including a little luxury for two wooden, custom stained flush mount vents that Crystal suggested. (Due to the added cost, we were very indecisive about these, but when the floor got installed, we realized what difference these vents made for the overall look of the space.)
There was some issue with the installation (floor creaking in one small area of the room); however, this was handled very promptly and efficiently by Crystal and her manager, Tyson. Tyson came out to check the area and we were so happy to learn that the issue was much smaller than we thought. (It was just to do with the nailing of one of the quarter rounds.) He brought one of the installers back, who fixed this in a matter of minutes.
In the end, we were delighted with this purchase. We would most certainly recommend the London Alexanian store (and especially Crystal, whom we dealt with) to anyone looking to do any flooring work, even if they (like us) don't know much about it beforehand.
