Horrible Company, Horrible Experience
DO NOT USE AIRE ONE. I went with Aire One because I had a furnace and air conditioning unit installed by them 12 years ago. Big mistake!
They booked me in for an appointment between 7:00am-1:00pm, and never showed. When I called to follow up, they said the technician was delayed and would arrive by 3:00. At 2:55 a technician arrived. He advised me that it would cost as much to fix the unit as it would to replace it, and he offered to call me a sales consultant. The sales consultant came the same day. He really wanted me to buy a heat pump, even though my furnace works just fine, and he could give me no actual data or evidence that heat pumps save money on heating/cooling the home. He told me that if I bought the heat pump (which was 3 times the price of the air conditioning unit), then they could install it on Friday, but if I went with the less expensive option, then they couldn't come until the Tuesday. I felt sick about this. I am a single mother. I have to be very careful with my money. I thought it was so dirty that they would try to take advantage of me this way. It has been a heat wave. We wanted the unit in as soon as possible. He said the earliest they could do was the Tuesday morning. I asked him what time on Tuesday morning, and he said I would receive a text with that information. I received the text on the Monday. It said that the technician would arrive between 12:00-2:00. NOT A MORNING APPOINTMENT AT ALL. By 2:00 no one had shown. I called to inquire, and was told that the technician was just finishing his last call, and would arrive within half an hour. At 3:45 I received a call that the technician was still at his last call and wouldn't be coming today at all. I said that was unacceptable, and they needed to send someone today. They said they would. At 6:00 the technician called and said he would come tomorrow morning first thing. This company must think that none of us work. They have zero consideration for people's time.
