Acorn Wood Floors

Acorn installed this for us in 2006. They did a great job and we have been very pleased since then. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, and kept things clean throughout the project. And, of course, the floor still looks great after more than 5 years.

Bought our 1968yr home, first thing we did was rip out old disgusting carpets in bedrooms when we discovered original hardwood underneath. Called Ron and asked him for expertise if salvageable. Was not hopeful because we saw big black stains, he put our minds at ease with professional info. and happened to have material readily available..Job done in 3 days instead of 5..great work fellas, definitely recommend and no big sanding mess either =).

Acorn were prompt and reliable with all their estimates and costs.

The floors still look great and we are very happy with them.

Their staff showed up on time, and were very efficient, clean, and friendly. They followed up with us to ensure that the job was done properly which is something we thought was great as you don't get from a lot of companies anymore.

have a 1962 ladner special - wood floor was trashed even had a big hole cut out beside fireplace dont know why acorn came in chosen because local and recommended by other locals they made the floor look like new all shiny and cant even tell where the big hole in the floor was and we have the dark inlay too - our main floor was finally live-able

Came back for tough up. Transitions were put in for no extra charge after hours according to our schedule. Quality of the product and the price was good.

Ron has superb product this great maple turquoise flooring. Acorn wood flooring provided excellent service. We were very happy with product. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

The floor was in a really bad condition to start and Acorn sanded it completely, filled the bad spots and totally fixed it! We were really very happy with the outcome, and have had lots of compliments on it.

The schedule was perfect, they were on time and budget and the floor has turned out beautifully.

We desperately needed to replace the flooring on the 2nd floor of our home and decided to take the plunge and get hardwood. After a few weeks and several flooring companies we decided on a Jatoba floor from Acorn. Our installer was a young fellow named Ryan.

To be honest at the end of day 1 I was a little concerned. He hadn't gotten as far as I'd hoped and the place was kind of messy. Worse yet, he'd floored over a pretty bad squeak. I called Ron who came out to have a look. He assured me the problem would be dealt with and wouldn't be that hard to fix. The next day I left work a little early to make sure I got home before Ryan left for the day. I must say that I was impressed by him. He took a lot of pride in his work and was really doing a nice job. The attention to detail was really nice to see.

Two days later the job was done, the squeak was fixed and we had a really nice floor. I would certainly recommend them and will probably use them next year to replace our staircase.

Ron and his crew came into our home and stripped and refinished two stories of poor quality imported flooring and made it look modern by taking the colour from a cherry red to a warm dark walnut. We couldn't have asked for a better colour. Because of the poor quality of the wood, extra time was taken to put extra top coats on the floor in some areas. And even with mishaps such as other contracted drywallers and tradespeople ruining newly finished hallways and delivery people dropping flyers through the mailslot onto wet floors, Ron and the crew made it right again. The patience they had with our project was terrific. We would highly recommend Acorn to any of our friends and family.

This is the 3rd time we have gone with Acorn for our flooring. I think that says it all! Ron and his team are wonderful. Our new floors look fantastic.
