Acorn Wood Floors

We chose Acorn to refinish the floors of our rental and we couldn't have been more pleased with their work. We chose simple laminate flooring for our small suite, and after about 4 years, the floors still look amazing! Their service was professional, well informed, and reasonably priced for the quality we received. I would certainly recommend Acorn to anyone looking to refurbish their floors.

Acorn did an awesome job on our floor. My wife and I almost got new product put down instead of refinishing the old floor. Acorn came in and with confidence gave us a quote. When finished there were no hidden changes to the contract. They came in did the job, and exceeded all our expectations!

Taking on significant significant renovations is always stressful. Ron & Val were very helpful, professional and very accommodating. It has been almost one year since the installation of new sub-floors and bamboo hardwood and we are very happy. They managed to take care of some undulations and movement in the old floors. Acorn drum sanded and removed some fairly some difficult scratches and gouges. They refinished our floor with a durable water based product that restored the natural colour highlighting the grain of our nailed oak flooring. I believe the results are better than the original. When we spotted even minor flaws in the coating, Ryan promptly returned to correct the problem. Water base coating can be a challenge to apply, but the results are worth the time required to get the job just right. Acorn obviously strives to maintain a high success rate, In our case we were not disappointed.

Acorn installed 31/4 x 3/4 hardwood floor in the upstairs, including stairway, to replace carpet and lino.
I'm very happy with the product watching it transform into a deeper shade as it ages. The workmanship was professional and completed in fine detail. Ron Teljeur has a vast background of knowledge and experience in the wood flooring industry. I know Acorn stands behind their product and work and will respond if I ever have any issues in the future.

We needed 3/4" engineered hardwood for the basement and were having a difficult time finding something suitable. Acorn had a hickory product that my mom really liked. Installed it is beautiful. I liked dealing with Val (in the office). She is organized, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. I felt like I was dealing with a small business that took pride in their work and cared about their customers.

We were given good customer service,, through the office, the estimating and the actual work, and the result is very good, sanding done skillfully, Pleasant and reliable people to work with.

Prior to moving into our new home Acorn Wood Floors refinished our hardwood floors. Their professional staff have the floors looking like they have just been installed.
