despite some of the revews i have read i to had Ricardo repair my roof he was polite and did a good job cleaned up very well didnt have any problems with i had a problem with some eves as well and when i called him through the wintewr he was not available when i called him again in the spring he had said that he goes away to brasil in the winter and that he would be over to fix it befor the end of the week and so he has done
he is now going to do work for my father on there house and i would be happy to say that we would use him again in the futer

Agreed on contract for a new lifetime warranty laminate shingle roof late last year. Ricardo asked for an increase to cover higher material costs and we agreed so that the project can move forward just before winter arrived. Less than 1 year later we have some leaks and Ricardo hasn't been returning any calls! My wife was able to speak with him once a week ago and after promising to come we're still waiting!

I rent out space in an OLD Kensington Market building. So, over years, I've dealt with more roofing contractors. I had to. And only 2 roofing contractors in the past 15 years have done the job right enough to last.

Ricardo was one of only two. The best one. Because last year Ricardo went way above and beyond for me.

I was worried when he started, though. Just because I'd paid to get that entire roof area redone too many times not to feel anxious. Expecting the worst yet again. But, instead, Ricardo had viable, working solutions for every problem. Solutions to problems even I hadn't anticipated.

So glad I chose Ricardo. Out of 5 quotes his had been second lowest -- one guy quoted lower -- but it seemed like Ricardo actually cared. Like fixing my problem mattered to him personally.

And it's true. That's exactly how Ricardo is. For the first year in the past 15 that roof has stopped leaking. I can finally stop worrying.

Reading the negative comments, I can totally understand why people felt let down when Ricardo was in Brazil. Heck. When the only person you know will save your day isn't there -- that can be a terrible disappointment. But not because that one person let you down, though. Just because they aren't there to save your day again. Especially when you know nobody else can or will do the job as well.

As I sit here reading all these reviews on accord roofing I don’t know who it is that’s putting him down like the one that says he came back to do a repair This winter, after the first thaw dated Mar 24, 2009 well I know for a fact he never did that he was in Brazil all winter never came back till march 13th and most of the snow was already gone by then. The one that says you claim it was repaired and gave no evidence of it, no time and date when you came to fix it dated Aug 01, 2008. If the repair wasn’t done would you not notice that it had not been done it just doesn’t sound right to me.
Personally I had my own roof done 4 years ago by Ricardo and I live on the shores of Georgian Bay and some times we get some pretty high winds and nothing has even moved. Still looks as good as the day he installed it. He also drove to my cottage on Three mile lake and done the roof there for me last year. I have a lot of trees close to the cottage some were hitting the roof he even cut them back for me at no extra cost. He has always been very professional and does a fantastic job. So why people would write these nasty reviews that don’t even seem to be true is beyond me.
In my opinion I would highly recommend Ricardo Pereira of Accord roofing to anyone who wants the job done right.

Had roof repaired in Sep 2007 leaked in spring 2008... contacted Ricardo re this they came back to repair. This winter, after the first thaw... same bs again... major leaks... this time not just the ceilings on the upper level, but also water in the walls - ruining a window frame in the kitchen and all the mortar is coming off the outside wall where water runs down...And but lo and behold when you try to contact ACCORD the phone is "temporarily disconnected". Really disappointing!

Ricardo is an extremely honest and caring person, last year he did the roof of my house, We got very happy with the results and also a very reasonable price for the job. We called Ricardo to came to our house to look after some problem up there, and one more time he attended right away! And guess what! he not even charged us.

Roof replaced two years ago by Ricardo. Been a huge headache every since. Problems include:
- No flashing for the flat roof
- Multiple leaks with the roof that just keep on popping up
- Cheap compress wood that is disintegrating with the leaks
- Huge ponding

Will have to put in a new roof because of the ponding and leaks. Can't get hold of Ricardo. Don't trust the guy even if I get hold of him.

Ricardo seems to be a decent hard working guy. He sees to be sincere but isn't thorough enough for me. It is SUPER important for me to be OVER THE TOP thorough with EVERY aspect of the job.

He replaced my flat roof over the back part of the house and we're having recurring problems with the stack. He assured me it would be good -- but it ain't. He is now proving hard to get a hold of. He did come out once .. slapped some more tar on and made a comment to my wife about normally charging for house visits. This is a warranty call - he just put the new roof in just a matter of WEEKS prior !!

Ricardo - CALL me .. let's get this done please Let's get this fixed now please .. PROPERLY.

8.9 Rating Score? I have no idea how this company can get such a score. Sure Ricardo will be nice and fix your stuff but after you pay him for the work it is a different case. 6 months after the repair things start to go wrong, guess what, after 2 weeks of calling and chasing around and getting promised to be called back multiple times and even after we had established a date and time for you or one of your associates to come and do the repair guess what you NEVER SHOWED UP as promised. You claim it was repaired and gave no evidence of it, no time and date when you came to fix it and after numerous calls chasing you around to provide an answer and the only thing you can says is "Back off, I had done the repairs and I am busy". With your quality of service and your business practice how can anyone be willing to accept and believe you had completed the "repaired". You never showed up as discussed!!!! When you make empty promises about calling your client with an answer to see when things were repaired and you don't hold up your end of the promise it shows the type of business you are running! We wasted coutless time waiting for you and now show and no call back. If my life wasn't so busy I would take your pathetic company to small claims court.

Never in my life have I meet a bad company. I don't even know how you stay in business.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY TO ANYONE. NOR WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE READING THIS TO EVEN CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH RICARDO IN ANY OF HIS FUTURE BUSINESSES.

Ricardo and his team did a great job. His quote was very competitive and everything that he said he would do and by when he did. He did my flat roof and built me a new gorgeous deck as well! He even fixed/replaced some shingle work that was done incorrectly no charge (wish I knew about Accord then). He was even good enough to build hand rails for our front steps at a very reasonable cost.

I am so pleased with the work and the service too. Ricardo is a really great guy to work with.
