I saw an ad on the newspaper for their grand opening of their new branch so I decided to check them out. The staffs there were really friendly in explaining to me all the differences between the duvets. I have been looking for a new down duvet for quite a while and their prices were really good! Got a king size down duvet for only $100! Even Costco can’t beat that price. They have a demonstration of the differences between cleaned and pre-cleaned feathers. It definitely gives me a sense of comfort knowing that their feathers have been clean and treated to a higher standard.

this store has a wide selection of kitchenware ad homeware, mostly from Japan. It's a very cramped store so you u've to be very careful when browsing in it. Prices are relatively expensive too. I was looking for a container/bottle for my cooking oil and condiments, they do have a lot of variety but they are expensive. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find something similar anywhere else. Hence I spent $30 on getting a glass container for my cooking oil. Way too expensive for my liking!

I first saw ads of the store on craiglist. Decided to check it out and it was a pleasant surprise! The furnitures there are unique and stylish! Prices are really good too! The only catch is the quality might not be as high, not saying that it's bad craftsmanship, but the materials aren't as high quality. I saw a nice leather ottoman at Home Delight for almost $500. Saw a slight smaller one, similar style here for almost half the price. Of course the leather used isn't as nice and smooth but at half the price, I think it's a good deal. You can also negotiate with them for a lower price or no tax too.

There are a lot of lighting stores along Bridgeport in Richmond. You can probably find the same thing at all the stores. I did a couple rounds and found that Vancouver lighting's prices are better than the others as they do have sale items. Stuff that are not on sale are just the same as the other stores. But definitely do your homework before purchasing because their staffs didn't seem quite helpful. I got better answers from the other stores. But it's alright considering the wall sconce I bought were $10 less here compared to the other stores!

I wanted to hang mirrors on my wall to make my dining room look bigger. I've seen alot of show homes do that. I have been to various places but wall mirrors are definitely not cheap, until I stumbled across Niki Glass's website! They have a clearance section and they just happened to have alot of 22" x 24" Frameless mirrors on clearance. They were on sale for $50 for 3, tax included! It was an amazing deal that can't be found anywhere else. The quality of the mirrors are really good too. Should definitely check often online and see their specials!

I have been shopping for a new mattress around town. It was difficult to compare because each store has it's own model number but similar specifications. I went to sleep country a couple times and every time I visit I would get a different quote on the same mattress. I didn't really like that. I was originally going to the store to shop for a sofa. But I came across the same mattress I saw at sleep country for about $300 less! They have 2 listed prices, one is price with bed purchase and one is price for mattress only. Just ask for the lower price and they will give it to you even without a bed purchase. They had free delivery and it was fast and easy!

i bought a pendant lamp from Home Delight and it was beautiful! They do have a lot of stylish furnitures and accessories at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend the store if you are going for the modern, contemporary look for your place!

I have picked a wall color based on a paint catalog. I brought it into home depot wanting to get the color. When I requested the get a can of the color I wanted from the catalog, the staff kindly explained to me that sometimes the color on the catalog might be different from the paint chip. She helped me picked out a few different colors and explained the slight differences between them. She was very understanding and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain to me and understand my wants. I love the final color she picked for me. Thanks!

I bought paint from the store on the last day of the sale when it had the buy 3 cans get 1 can free promo. Unfortunately I went during the last half an hour before closing and the staff at the paint section was cleaning up and getting ready to get off already. They ended up mixing me the wrong color that could not be matched. I didn't have enough paint to finish the last wall of my room. So I brought my empty can and the color sample to the same Rona again for an extra small can. When I painted it, it was a shade darker. At the end of the day, I had to buy an extra large can to repaint the whole room. It was a waste of my time effort and money!
