Not up to the standard they market themselves to be. The handle crank wore out faster than any other windows we bought from other vendors. It was ocassionally used and the inside of the handle crank stripped. This is poor quality. The follow up repair was a multi call hassle to arrange and then their verbal quote differed from their actual invoice. Another one of their windows fogged up in between the panes in under 10 years . repair for $500 which was close to the price of a new window for that size from other companies of same or better quality. When originally sold, they said we could add bug screens later.... When wanting bug screens two years later they said is was difficult for those windows and the quote was so high it was almost the same as for new windows. Loads of better alternatives in this city.

We bought a new Bosch dishwasher from Midland Appliance who use HAN for the installation which gets performed according to warranty of the manufacturer. This is where the problem is as many manufacturers supply sub standard installation parts which must be used. In our case they used the BOSCH supplied 1cm screw on each side to hold in the dishwasher drilled into MDF. After one year both screws stripped out and HAN is asking for another 250 to reinstall...huh! If it was done properly the first time they would have drilled into the plywood above but according to warranty this is not permitted. I have since confirmed that this model is warrantied to clip from the top, so no effort to admit their own deficiencies. HAN is ok with doing a crappy job ( but it is according to the warranty). IMO there is no excuse for knowingly doing an inferior and insufficient job based on what you're told to do. At $300 for install it's reasonable to expect it done right and last as long as the dishwasher does.

We had an older popcorn ceiling in our basement kitchen. As we were upgrading the cabinets in made sense to remove the dated popcorn ceiling at the same time. Bernard came to the rescue and did a A++ job. Bernard is an extermely trustworthy contractor who worked hard over the weekend and provided an excellent result. He sanded down the popcorn first, then added a couple thin layers of plaster to get the ceiling nice and smooth and ready for painting. Happy we used Bernard's services and would highly reccomend him and use him again anytime. Fair price for a very professional job very well done.
