I heard about HD Good-View through a referral from a couple of friends who were happy with the backyard work they got done. Yan and her team re-landscaped my backyard and I'm very happy with the job that they did. From the initial consultation with Yan, she came to my home to understand the space in-person. After doing some measurements and listening to my needs, she was able to give me an estimate on the spot. Comparing to some other estimates I got, HD Good-View's prices were competitive and reasonable. HD Good-View also told us the stone suppliers they have trade discounts with so that we could see and pick out our tiles in-person. In terms of the work that was done, Yan's team worked fast and kept my space tidy. They had a very high attention to detail when laying down our pavers, artificial grass, and river rock. Overall, we're very happy with our new backyard. We can't wait to spend time in our space in the Summer. We will definitely contact HD Good-View again for future work and will easily recommend them to our friends and family.

I was pleased with my recent experience with High Life installing a new Carrier air conditioner for me. My 17 year old air conditioner had died on me and Mark suggested that we get a new one than to pay the possible high costs of fixing this old one (which can die again soon). We agreed and went ahead with quotes on air conditioners that would be appropriate for the space it would go in outside and our house size. Mark was very friendly, listed all of our options, and responded in a very timely manner. He got us a time slot shortly after our call, which I appreciated. Ali and his colleague came to do the installation. They were careful with their work inside our utility room and the AC unit outside. Only thing I would nitpick on is that they didn't even check one of our vents to make sure that the new AC unit was actually working properly after it was turned on. They just asked if I feel cool air and I said yes. If I were them, I wouldn't just take the word of the customer since I'm not an expert (even though I was very sure the air was cool). I can confirm that my house is being cooled now though.

I had just moved into my home and wanted to get duct cleaning done. The previous owners got the ducts cleaned back in 2010 and had dogs, so I wanted the ducts cleaned ASAP. After a few good reviews from people in my neighbourhood, I decided to go with The Duct Cleaning Specialists. Nick and Matt were the two duct cleaners who came to my property. They were super friendly and patiently answered any questions I had. They also made sure that as a new homeowner, I knew how to take care of my vents, furnace, and humidifier throughout the year. As they cleaned my vents, they showed me pictures of the before and after. If I had to nitpick an area of improvement, it's that after they had left, I realized that my vents weren't washed and wiped down with Benefect Disinfectant. This is one of the steps that are part of TDCS's "Our Process" page on their site. I will overlook that, since Nick and Matt did such an exceptional job with the rest of the cleaning and even did a quick vacuum of my dryer vent from the outside of my house at no additional charge. [UPDATE] After I had posted my original review, Paul (the owner) emailed me personally to apologize for his staff forgetting to wash and disinfect my vents. He offered to come to my home to get that done. He even offered to come on a weekend(!). On the day of his visit, he wiped my all my vents clean and sprayed Benefect into my furnace and explained the benefits of the disinfectant. I also noticed that certain vents in my home didn't have heat coming out of them and wasn't sure if that was caused by the first duct cleaning visit. Paul quickly found the cause of that and it was actually something wrong with the ducts and was passed on from the previous owners of the house. Paul fixed the issue for us anyway and now heat is going through all our ducts. I am extremely thankful for everything that The Duct Cleaning Specialists have done for my home. They went above and beyond their responsibilities and I am so thankful I went to them for their services. I respect the fact that Paul wanted to make sure that every step of their cleaning process was met and followed through with me personally to make things right. I will definitely call TDCS in the future for duct cleaning and I will recommend them to my friends and family.
