Oh how I love Ikea! I recently moved out and Ikea had excatly what I was looking for! I am a huge movie lover and needed something to store my DVD's but not have them out in the open. I received great service in helping to build and design my enteraintment unit. It was a pain to put together (what Ikea furnture isnt!!) but worth it!!!
I was given a gift card to Pier 1 for Christmas a few years ago and had never been into the store. Once I was in the store, I was in 7th heaven. Not only did I buy some great decorations for my house, but got to buy entertaining platters. Seeing as I love to have people over, Pier 1 has become the best store for my entertaining needs. I spent my gift card and then some!! Will be a regular shopper now!
Brian and his son helped me recently move into my new home. They loaded and unloaded all of the heavy and awkward pieces of furniture for me. They were speedy and diligent. The move went well however when asked to help assemble some furniture and mount my tv to the wall, he was unprepared and had no tools. In the end, it worked out fine but would only re-hire if in a bind.
I recently went to Bed, Bath and Beyond armed with a large sum of gift cards to outfit my new home. The selection was vast and the staff were helpful. Only dissatisfaction was having to ring in numerous seperate transactions to gain 20% with their coupon. All in all, I go back to purchase items I need but never without a coupon.
I purchased my brand new condo from Jayman 17 months before I acutally moved in. All that was built when I bought was the underground parking garage. Throughout the entire build, Jayman allowed me to cone and view the working being done in my unit. They provided updates along the way and let me know if there were any issues. There were a few, however they were handled quickly and professionaly. The best part was during my 6-month review, the service was over and beyond what I imagined! Not only did they fix the identified scratches etc, they also fixed the small paint chips on my walls from the move in. All and all, I am very happy with my very first house purchase and would build with Jayman again.
I have used Alberta Carpet Cleaners twice to clean the rugs in my condo. Once they were able to use the truck mounted equipment and once they had to use the portable equipment. Both cleaned the rugs but the truck-mounted equipment did a much better job. I would use these cleaners again.
My kitchen sink was clogged because I had put more stuff down the drain than the garburator could handle. RRR Plumbing came out the same day and quickly unplugged the sink. They were very professional and I was very happy with the service.
I used Highland Movers to move my furniture and household articles from a house to a condominium apporximately 6 years ago. The move was done just after Christmas on a very cold day but, in spite of this, the movers were very professional. They wrapped everything carefully and were extremely cautious when moving my valuables, including a very large and heavy treadmill. Nothing was damaged in any way.
