NOT TOO HAPPY in Thorold

Update 02/18 Well I did call as suggested by Pollard response from review below. After a nice conversation I was informed that there coverage is now for 20 years for window seal failure. I'm sure 10 years was original. That is impressive in this industry and a true sign that they are standing behind their product. I ended up replacing one window and I do believe I was not charged at all for it or the installation. I do think Pollard is making a real effort to make things right with installations that may have gone wrong in the past so I will highly commend them for that. Hopefully this will be my last seal failure ever. Moved into a brand new home in 2007. First week needed to replace one of our patio doors due to seal failure. That was the beginning and still having seal failures to this day. They have a 10 year warranty for this but you have to pay for the labor. We must have changed six windows over the years and now with the onset of cold weather looks like I need to replace two more. Showing a lot of condensation on these windows in the morning and one starting to completely fog up on the inside. Also noticed one front bedroom seems colder than before. Really nice for our kids to sleep in and freeze in the winter. One of these windows were already replaced about five years ago. I can only conclude that their products are junk. Like other reviewer state I think there main market is low cost cheaply built housing where builders run away after their done. With this house I contracted a quality builder and assumed he would be using high quality windows. Obviously not the case. My old cookie cutter house build in 1990 never had window issues like this and that home is what I consider to be low cost housing. Most but not all of the failures are in two rooms facing the front of out house. I don't know what difference that would make but thought I would mention it. This current failure will be the third window failure in one of those rooms. Very disappointed with Pollard and would NEVER recommend their windows to my worst enemy. Now I have to call again wait 4 months and pay for entire order of windows and labor because warranty expired 07/2017. Looking at over $1000.00 for two windows for sure.
