Jay with Housecalls Renovation Advisors was contracted to tender, review proposals and make recommendations in the selection process for a commercial building flat roof replacement. He helped source a very cost-competitive bid, and then when the project was awarded, made regular on-site visits to meet with the roofers (and our staff) to review the work, help sort out various roof-related technical issues (for example, removing the old roof anchors), monitoring the progress of the project, site acccess issues, reviewing incoming progress invoices and supporting documentation. Very satisfied with his service. He saved us time, money and made sure our project was completed without any problems - on budget, on time.

Thanks for this very supportive review Jordan. Given the extra constraints placed on you and your staff during this dreadful and dangerous pandemic, well coordinated teamwork and excellent communications between all parties made this project a pleasure for me to work on, and work with everyone connected to this project.

We were planning to renovate the basement but not this fast! Sewer backed up with roots in the pipes, and our 25 year old furnace died. So we called Jay at HCRA and needed a plan fast. Jay helped us create a plan, did drawings and helped organize contractors to quote the job. We did a full basement reno - down to the studs, new plumbing and electrical. Everything went smoothly. All the contractors were great! All the work was done professionally and on time. It was a pleasure working with Jay! Now we're doing our kitchen with him!

$75,000.00

Thanks for the great review Jordan. It was a pleasure working with you too. I'm very pleased with the final outcome and glad that we were able to identify serious problems with two very important, but less visible systems.
Amongst the obvious improvements to the space planning and the improved finishes throughout, the project included removing and replacing the old drainlines and installing a new high efficiency boiler (with integrated hot water). You will now get many years of enjoyment from your improved basement family room, laundry, gym and upgraded bathroom. Thanks again, Jay

I loved this coffee maker for about a year. Then is started needing frequent (2x/year) service for $75-100 per visit. That was OK, cause service took a week or so. Recently Krups decided to close their Canadian Parts supplier so parts have to come from FRANCE. No coffee now for for almost 2 months. BYE-BYE Krups Canada!

$1,500.00
