In preparation for the sale/ move from my former home, I decided to use 1800 Got Junk because I had seen them advertised everywhere. I had tried , unsuccessfully to sell, donate, give away items. In frustration I called 1800, wow - theze guys are organized, punctual, and exactly as described. Although I no longer live in the GTA I would highly recommend this service.

I would not hesitate to recommend AMJ Campbell - I would give them a 9.5 rating. An extremely professional and knowledgeable organization - starting with the receptionist who quickly respondedto my initial email to everyone else I spoke with. I truly appreciated the thoroughness of CB who came to my home and went through everything - room by room - closet by closet. I found his estimateto be acceptable and was beyond pleased to finf that he had overestimated the weight - a very pleasant surprise. AMJ also arranged to have a wooden crate built for a piece of valuable art - shocked to find that they use the same company for this as the ROM and AGO. The movers were extremely efficient and had a three bedroom home packed up before I could blink an eye. The only reason for my 9.5 rating is one item that was damagedin transit. However, upon CB’s recommendation - I did purchase the insurance. My claim was processed in lightning speed. I would not hesitate to recommend AMJ for a local or long-distance move.

Having spent the last few weeks trying to get someone to look at my fence and give me a reasonable quote - I decided to try Homestars. I have posted reviews before but have always been sceptical about posted reviews. I read the reviews for Vicfences - gave them a call - and am very glad That I did. V and A arrived at my home, looked at what needed to be done, and gave me a clear explanation of what needed to be done, and my options. What impressed me the most about Vicfences is their integrity - I assumed that the repair project would have been anlot more complicated and costly. Even though it would have meant a bigger , and more profiitable job for them - they advised me against having certain work done as it was not necessary and would beca waste of money for me. Wow! At this point I had decided they would be doing the job for me. The work was completed far sooner than I was expecting, and I am pleased with my new gate and much sturdier fence. These guys knows their fences and I recommend them for your frncing / deck work. For my next home - they will be the first and only people I will call for my frncing/ deck needs.

In the Spring of 2017 I thought abpout replacing my door. Due to their extensive advertising, it was the first place I decided to go. To be honest, the first time I went to the showroom I was overwhelmed with the selection and left. By July I decided to try again. Looking at their on-line catalogue I found exact door I wanted and returned to Brock where I saw the door I wanted. Arrangements were made, and BK soon came to look over my existing door and do some preliminaries. BK explained everything clearly and concisely. He even drew a sketch of the new door which really put the project in perspective. I was impressed so far but I did go through the process of getting several other quotes. This was a complete waste of time, and I quickly returned to Brock to sign the paperwork. I arrived early for my appointment and while there was assisted by another great member of the Brock team that gave me great advice on selecting the appropriate hardware. I would personally like to thank her because the door handle that she suggested was a perfect match for the style of door. Fast forward to last week and my door was ready for installation - it actually arrived four weeks ahead of schedule. The installer arrived on time with his partner. The installer had also been by in August to do the actual measurements for the frame, etc. Now I am certain that all of Brock's installers are the same, but this man was the epitome of the perfect tradesman. He was meticulous and a perfectionist. It was as if he was doing a project for his own home. By the time they left, it was as if I had a brand new house. I could go on and on about the excellent service from start to finish, but I will just conclude by saying that from the being to the end of the process Brock exceeded every possible expectation that I had. I would not hesitate to recommend Brock, and will surely use them again.

I recently had curbs and paving done by Stoneridge and am very pleased with the results. While driving in Brampton I saw some curbs at a random house and stopped to ask the owner who did them. He recommended Stoneridge. When M. came to give me the estimate, I had a very vague idea of what I wanted - beveled curbs, new stairs, and a concrete pad. His design was exactly what I wanted. S. arrived on the excavation day and in no time my old driveway was gone and the area excavated for the curbs. On framing day I was not at home, but I did receive a call from Sal that the design would be a bit different due to the need for a second step. Not a problem, because I knew I was in expert hands. I just want to add that I was pleased they excavated deeply. Concrete pouring day I was out of town - although I like to be present it was just not possible that day. Again I was not concerned because I knew I was in good hands with Stone Ridge. The curbs, stairs and pad were better than I anticipated. Paving day came and S. and his crew came, paved, and everything was beautifully levelled off. I want to add that there was nothing to clean up after. Driveway looked great. I was out of town the day after and just got back. Speaking with a neighbour this morning she said at least 20 cars stopped yesterday to take a look. No sooner had she said this, I was taking down the construction tape and Stoneridge sign when a guy stopped his car and asked if he could take a look. This afternoon I was going out, opened the garage door, and there was a man from a competing company - he was doing a job around the corner - he asked me who did the driveway, and even he commented that they did a very good job. The concrete work was challenging this year because several neighbours tried to get together to get the job done. I decided to go rogue and am very glad I did. A job like this requires professionals who know what they are doing. Joe Concrete Pourer working out of the back of his pickup truck is not going to do a good job. Two very old men with a pick and shovel trying to dig up sod cannot possibly dig down deep enough. Pouring concrete in the rain will not get you a good result. I didn't know it until I saw my neighbours' work but apparently there are different grades of concrete - Stoneridge uses a very high grade. Stoneridge framers are able to frame in a straight line. Ok so I guess I have written my 30 words - a little lengthy perhaps but because I have seen the poor quality work done by the people with little experience, I do want homeowners to realize what a good job they did for me and that they are truly professionals
