This is a big SHOUT OUT to Joe Barone and York West Paving for their AWESOME service! Previously we had used York West to pave our parents driveway in South Etobicoke. That was a number of years ago and they did a great job. Recently our elderly mother noticed a crack that had formed at the top of the driveway (it elevates from the street, arching as it levels out at house level. I am in Western Canada, but sent an email to York West asking if someone could stop by and provide me an estimate so we could get this repair completed. I received a very prompt response (on a Sunday), from Joe Barone. He let me know that he would be by the following Saturday. I let my mother know and we waited to hear from Mr. Barone. This past weekend (July 1st), some grandchildren visited our mom, and someone noticed the crack had been repaired. There was no bill in the mailbox, and no one had come to the door. I sent Joe an email and told him it appeared he had been by but that we needed a bill for the work. Joe got back and let me know it was taken care of at his end and nothing was owed. THIS WAS SUPER CUSTOMER!! We had been previous customers of York West but it was extremely kind on a holiday no less, that Joe Barone took the time to help fix our mother's driveway, at his time and expense. We have previously recommended York West to neighbours, but the generosity shown this time deserved a special thank you. We hope many folks see this note, and we highly recommend York West Paving for any job - small or large - they do them all, with pride! Thanks Joe!
