Poor experiences over the years
I found that the sales staff could not care whether or not you enter the store. I guess you should dress up for the visit. The furniture looks nice, but they are not always well made. I purchased 6 leather kitchen chairs. After 3 years each chair ripped in the seam where the back meets the seat. Note that this happened on both sides of the chair, on all 6 chairs! I spoke to the owner about it and his response was that the manufacturer no longer makes that chair. They did continue to make the identical chair in fabric. I guess the manufacturer also noticed the defects. I asked if there were any similar chairs that could be discounted so that I could replace the defective items at a reasonable price. They told me that they could sell me the fabric version of the chair at a discount. I then looked at the price tag and found out that the chairs were on sale for the same price quoted to me. So much for the special discount. About 5 years before that, I purchased a kitchen table. I arrived to pick up the table and they loaded it into my van. I got home to find that they neglected to load the table legs. When I returned, the owner smirked and said "oh, you're the guy that forgot to pick up his kitchen table legs". My bad for not checking what they were loading (because I guess that is now the purchasers' responsibility?)...my bad for assuming that they may apologize for the second trip that I had to make to the store. Two bad experiences. I would not recommend this store.
