I used Toronto Pro Moving to move all of my belongings when I relocated from an apartment to a condo in North York in February 2015. First of all, two guys came over to my apartment the night before the move and packed my more fragile belongings, including some valuable antiques. Several weeks before that, one of the guys had brought me over a bunch of boxes for packing. On the moving day, the guys arrived on time and were amazing. They were very careful, swift and efficient in collecting all of my belongings, transporting them down a long corridor and then loading them onto a truck outside. When the guys arrived at my new condo building, they discovered only one elevator was in use. The working elevator couldn't be put on service and had to be shared with other tenants. The company quickly brought in two more guys to help out. Everyone worked very hard. In fact, they started at 9 a.m. and didn't take a brief lunch until 4 p.m.! At the end of the move, everything was safe and undamaged in my new place ... and nothing was missing. This included my 112-year-old upright grand piano, which was very heavy. In fact, it seemed to be in better tune than before the move! I highly recommend Toronto Pro Moving. It's an excellent company with great integrity and very honest management. I'm hoping to never move again, but, if I do, I will definitely use them. I give them 10+ stars!

Adrian is amazing. He fixed a perplexing problem with my phone jacks that no one else could fix. For four months only one phone jack worked at one end of my condo. None of the other phone jacks worked. I had recently purchased the condo and the problem had existed since I bought the place. No one could figure out what was causing the problem or how to fix it. I initially used one phone company for my phone service and then switched to another phone company. I thought the second phone company would know better how to fix the issue. The phone company sent several technicians on various occasions to my place. Unfortunately, the technicians were unable to get the phone jacks to work. They said the phone wires had probably deteriorated due to the age of the condo (the building is 40 years old) or that a wire had accidentally been cut when I had the unit renovated. I pretty much thought the situation was hopeless. The phone company technicians recommended I just buy a portable phone and plug it into the one working phone jack to give me phone coverage in the rest of my condo. Then, I found Adrian on HomeStars. His reviews were great so I decided to give him a try. When I phoned Adrian, he said he would have to investigate. He stated upfront that it might be very difficult to fix the issue, or impossible, depending on the situation. Adrian came by and took a look. After about 20 minutes, he told me he thought he could fix the issue. He gave me a very reasonable estimate of the cost. Two hours later, Adrian had all of my phone jacks working and I had phone service in all of my rooms! He said the phone jacks hadn't worked because they weren't connected properly. I give Adrian's service 10 out of 10 stars. He is decent, honest, straightforward and he knows his stuff. I plan to have him back at a later date to install more phone jacks, once I figure out where I want to put them. I want to express my deep appreciation to Adrian for giving me phone service in all of my rooms. I will be recommending his service to everyone I know.

A few years ago we bought an old home with a tiny, inefficient, out-of-the-way kitchen on the side of the house. Jerry took a look at our kitchen and came up with an amazing cost-efficient plan. The result was a fantastic design that made incredible use of the existing space, opened up our kitchen to the front livingroom / diningroom and made our home the envy of the street! Jerry's solution was simple but brilliant. He knocked down a non-supporting wall that separated the kitchen from the front livingroom / diningroom. Replacing all of the old 1950s-style cabinetry and fixtures with new, high quality materials, he installed state-of-the-art light maple cabinets, granite countertops, terra cotta tiled floors, tumble marble backsplash and pot lights. Jerry's workmanship was stunning and our kitchen looked like something out of Home and Garden magazine! We never dreamed it would look so good. Jerry literally transformed our kitchen from a cursory artery to the heart of our home. Our kitchen became the focal point for all of our family activities and for all our entertaining of guests. We are totally grateful to Jerry. If we ever need any other work done, he will be the first and only contractor we will call.
