Recently I was in need of a plumber for serveral jobs I needed completed. I placed my requirements on HomeStars and waited for plumbers to provide estimates. I was contacted by 4 different companies in total. One of the companies was known for immensely overcharging for their services. Two of the other companies were more interested in providing a quote over the phone or via email rather than sending a human being out to access the work required on site. The other company, which by the way was the one I went with, actually sent a couple of great guys, Trevor & Chris, to access my needs and provide a realistic estimate based on site information. Not only did they provide a timely estimate, they were actually able to start the job right then ! I could not be more happy with the work done as both guys were polite, professional, did great work and cleaned up after themselves. On top of all of this, Brian, the General Manager, called me the next day to confirm I was happy with the work done and if I had any questions or concerns. I must say I have been very impressed by Vaillancourt Plumbing and they will be my go to company for all my future plumbing needs. Thanks everyone at Vaillancourt Plumbing for making this project such a great success !!

What a great job Todd and his team did transforming a very old and tired looking landscape to something incredibly beautiful ! From the very beginning we knew Todd was the landscaping company we wanted to work with. He really knows his stuff and was able to provide very knowledgeable advice in guiding us throughout the process of design, materials, and colour choices. I can't say enough good things about Todd as he always had our best interest first and always returned calls in a timely fashion. Throughout the process, Todd brought in the members of his team who had the best skill sets to complete the task at hand. The members of Todd's team were always eager to answer any questions we had and encouraged us to discuss the project with them at any time. Many of our neighbors stopped by to admire the work being done as did many others driving by on the street. This is obviously a testament to the quality of the work being done. If you are looking for someone who knows landscaping, is honest, treats you fairly and puts the customer first, then TWG Landscaping should be your first choice ! When we decided to renovate our 30 year old finished basement, the first item on the list was to find a suitable contractor for the job. We selected 3 possible candidates for the job and started the process of meeting with each to discuss the requirements and and initial job estimates. When we met Sean at Hammerdown Holdings we knew immediately that he was the guy we wanted ! Sean is such a down to earth person who puts his clients first and foremost. One our our first impressions of Sean was how professional and detailed he was in the way he approached the project. Sean is great listener and easy to work with. His vast experience in this line of work allowed him to suggest alternative solutions and best practices wherever needed throughout the project. Needless to say, we very much enjoyed working with Sean and his Team. “The Team” – Bill and Thomas !! These 2 are amazing at what they do. Whether it was removing stipple from the ceiling, installing floors/bathroom fixtures, painting, etc they did it all with skill, care and precision. They were always ready to go the extra mile to ensure we were totally pleased with everything they did. Their favourite saying was “ we are happy only when you are happy”. Like Sean, both Bill and Thomas were very friendly salt of the earth people that we were very fortunate to have had an opportunity to meet and work with. As per some of the other reviews of have read, Sean and his Team were always very willing to complete some of our other small jobs we needed done such as installing a new toilet in our other bathroom and a new dishwasher in the kitchen. We felt the cost for completing this work was very reasonable ! If your looking for good people, an honest and fair contractor, and a team that does GREAT WORK , HammerDown Home Improvements should be at the the top of your list.
