The lock of my patio door is malfunction and the first contractor who came said the lock can not be fixed and need to replace with a new one. The contractor does not know where to get the lock so he disable the patio door lock for me so it can open and charge $300+. After I found a supplier with the lock, this contractor is asking for another $200+ to come back to install it. (I felt I was totally ripped) Then I found Pardeep from Basic Carpenter Corporation who is willing to come in such a short notice (called him on Sunday and he came on Monday) to investigate the issue and ends up fix the lock without even the need to replace it! I cant express how tanksful I am to Pardeep and it just shows you how important is it to find the right person for the job!

Kyle did an fantastic job on finding the potential entry for the rodent around my house and fix it. The entry was located at a very difficult spot to fix but Kyle still manage to properly seal the entry and I have not seen any sign of rodent for a year now (the job was done back in 2019!) Kyle also provided valuable information and tips while looking around my basement crawl space (where the rodent droppings were). It is good to have someone fix your problem, but it is even better when that person can teach you on how to prevent the problem happen again! Thank you very much Kyle!

The drainage hose of my old water tank just blast off one day morning and flooded my basement. After going through all the clean up, I find Best Way Heating to be the only one that is available right the way with great rating in HomeStar. There were obstacles to overcome when replacing the hot water tank in my basement. The access to basement is through a steep ladders, the original setup was problematic and ... etc. Jafar didn't complain nor charge any extra money despite extra hour he needed to spend and extra works need to be done. Jafar performed his job with confidence. Regardless the time was late and there were other people calling him to ask for help, Jafar still did the job with great detail instead of rushing the installation job. Even after the installation was done, he patiently explains things and help me checking all the water outlet to make sure the pressure and everything is normal. (He actually fixed one of my faucet which has weak water flow, again, no extra charge) One more thing which shows Jafar is a responsible person: Jafar forgot to take away the containers / cardboard of the new hot water tank which left on my front door (it was late and dark when he left) but he called back next day to apologize and came by take away the container / cardboard personally. Its a pleasure to have Jafar to replace my old hot water tank!

It has been more than a month since Laurenzo came and fix my furnace. Everything works fine since then so I am writing the review now. (you got to give it sometime to make sure everything works properly) Laurenzo and Westmount Heating are as great as everyone else described in here. Professional, detailed, friendly and reasonable price. My gas furnace was not turning on, and since it is a bit aged, (about 10 years) I was ready to open my wallet and spend a fortune on it. Upon Laurenzo's arrival, he quickly check around the furnace and locate the problem in 5 minutes. He patiently explain the problem to me and recommended to apply fix to it for now and wait for the rebate season to replace for new one which can save me hundreds of dollars! After he fix the furnace, he also spent time to look around my house to provide suggestion on how to make the heating process more efficient and so on. Strongly recommended for anyone who need a service. The only problem you might have is to get an appointment with them!
