After a failed start with a previous contractor that could not get the job done, I put in a lot of research into finding a team that could execute and deliver well. Having an engineering degree, I really put the teams I interview through the paces to determine who would do a quality job for the right price. Gus came through with great communication and details of how he was going to do the job with the high quality I was looking for. Once the team got working, they continue to impress. Coming in early and leaving late every day to get the job done. As with all jobs, unexpected items can come up, but the team did great to communicate, provide solutions and execute on the plan. The driveway and path look great and I'm sure it will last for many years to come. Thanks Gus at team!

I ran into a bind with a previous contractor that bailed on me at the last minute. Luckily, I found Issa to save me out of this challenge. He came through, did the excavation needed on short notice and worked through the litany of challenges working in the tight spaces of the city. This was part of a larger project that had a lot of different contractors involved. Working with many contractors over the years I've gotten to know what makes a good one from the bad ones, and Issa is one of the keepers. He can work through the challenges of a construction project with his can-do solution focused approach. While many others are just citing the problems and throwing their hands in the air, Issa is able to see through to solutions while working well with the group and timelines. Issa was also good and responding, communicating what's possible, and doing what he says he will do. I appreciated his reliability. After working so well on a tough project with a tough timeline I don't have enough good things to say about him.

Maple Leaf Caulking was reliable and affordable. Very knowledgeable about what he needed to do. He would not sacrifice the quality of his work for convenience. (He was ready to do the job the very day he came to check the site out but because there had been some rain, he suggested we book for next week when the weather was clear for the sake of the job.) On top of all that he was very courteous and tidy.

Thanks for the help on the rad pipe removal! Although you could not make the initial time we agreed due to unforseen issues there was good communication to manage the situation. I appreciated the efforts to get the job done and work through the old pipe removal. Good cleanup and the end and doing the tasks as requested.

Thanks for the great work on the tree removal Irmis and team! Irmis was great to work with! He guided us through the process of applying for the permit to remove the tree with the city. The guidance was great because the process took a few days in our case. I understand from others that have been through the process approval normally takes months. All through the process Irmis was very responsive replying to emails quickly and always proving what was needed. Once on site the team worked hard all day long barely stopping for breaks ever. While here I asked for an extra shrub to be removed and some other roots to be ground, which they were happy to do with no issue. They were very helpful, did exactly what they said they would do, and did a great job cleaning up after the work was done. Did I mentioned they were the most competitive of the 4 quotes I got as well? I highly recommend these guys for any tree work needed.

Thanks for the deck Alec and team! The strong foundation and support appealed to the engineer in me. The attention to detail and exacting fits and measurements around a less then perfect century home was very much appreciated by the perfectionist in me. Well done! Even my 10 year old was impressed saying "That deck is way better then I expected!". All the little unasked for extras truly put your service and team in a class of their own.

We live in an older house in downtown Toronto that has needed a lot of "extra care". As such we've become very familiar with different contractors from the various trades. We have even been through a few electricians before getting to Falstaff. I can honestly say these guys are one of the best we've ever dealt with. They show up on time, they actually listen to what is needed, and the execute perfectly. More then once they have gone the extra mile to make sure things are done properly without additional charge. They are not the cheapest, but not the most expensive when we have received competitive quotes. I can say confidently that they do provide the best value - as when we've gone with the cheapest quotes it ended up costing us more in the end. Thanks for the help and being there Falstaff!

Dimitru has been helping me over the years with general plumbing services in commercial and residential locations. From new buildouts to emergency repair he has always been honest, effective and courteous. He goes the extra mile to make sure things are done properly and never tries to sell something that is not needed. He's a soft spoken great guy to have around.
