Since I was new to Calgary and it’s climate, I attended a very informative workshop on Landscaping by Michelle, owner of Aris Landscaping, and immediately engaged her. Michelle was very enthusiastic, a great listener, and opened my eyes and mind to plants, miniature trees, stone and mulch, sitting areas with consideration of colours, textures, heights, blooming times, sunny or shady areas, that I would never have thought of planting or using. She even worked my mum’s favourite flowers into the design, as a special memory for me, and lighting. I had a basic vision and Michelle expanded that, presented me with choices and great advice. Michelle was always punctual, patient, considerate within my limited budget, always took time to answer all my questions during the entire project which I completed myself. She emailed 3D designs until the design was perfect. Then presented me with the final drafted detailed drawings. My Aris designed front yard by Michelle is lovely, and a real eye catcher. Neighbours and even strangers have stopped to give compliments and ask “Who done it?” Michelle goes above and beyond with her excellent customer service. I have recommended Aris Landscaping to several people.

I found Boulevard on Home Stars as I do with all my contractors. I was impressed from my first call and immediate followup by Vanessa, who assessed the situation and made up the quote, followed by April helping me choose designs and colours. Both these girls are great listeners and communicators as I wanted a "Timeless Look/Update" on my 42 year old house. They were very professional, patient, and took the time to explain the latest products that were available. I chose weathered looking shingles around the Loft up top, and Hardie Board for the main siding with hard insulation, new black roof that was installed in a day ahead of schedule. The siding was started the day after I made my decision to go ahead. It is still in progress as we started late. Doug and Mike are very polite and always let me know what they are doing each day. They are very precise in their installations and work weather permitting. I am also having new soffits, eaves, fascia, door and fixtures, metal aluminum railings and glass put around my deck. Plus, the posts and beam under the deck have been boxed out with panels and trim, and painted a contrasting colour. They look awesome. I will report more and include photos before and after, when the job is completely finished. Yes, I would absolutely recommend Boulevard to my friends and neighbours who like what they see already.

Dmitri was highly recommended by a furnace maintenance company we have used for years. He was excellent with communicating his experience as a gas fitter and what the furnace capacity was in relation to the size of our house, it's functions. He gave us a good price and also had the city inspector approve it. I was extremely satisfied with his work, the furnace, and I am enjoying the results.

David was excellent in his communications, punctual, always professional, caring, cheerful and happy to please, with a great quality work ethic. He was recommended by another exterior home company whom I trust. He came promptly and at times that were suitable, working around other tradesmen. His price was very reasonable. He also, helped choose colours for the job. I appreciated his suggestions to update my aging home. I am extremely happy with the results. I will be having David back to paint the exterior later.
