My wife and I have initially contacted a duct cleaning services from one of the big retail stores. Huge mistake. Very expensive and I had a hunch of very cheap service. For some odd reason Homestars did not pop into my head even though I already used it for such services as house painting (Euromaster Painting) and home inspection (Classic Home Inspection) both provided us with amazing and professional service, twice. The night before our scheduled appointment with the big retail contractor I looked up duct cleaning services on Homestars and found Paul and his Duct Cleaning Specialists businesses. I called him and hired him that same night. The next morning I cancelled the other service provider. Paul arrived at the appointed time. Was extremely polite and professional. Did everything as he said he would do. Explained in detail future maintenance issues. Left the house very clean. Highly recommend Paul and his company.

Be very careful when you hire Brent to do your home inspection. After 3 years of searching and waiting for a nice house to pop up in a specific area we hired Brent to inspect it for us even though the agent was insisting on his professional guy for $200 less. Brent was extremely nice on the phone and showed up a few minutes early to the appointment. And here is where things got a bit crazy - Brent went a bit crazy. He squeezed himself and peeked into the smallest cracks of the house and after two hours provided us with a binder full of comments one of which was "be careful about this house, it has a mold spot 40inch/sq in the attic and who knows where else that has spread to, plus it's got aluminum wires all over the place and wrong fuses in the electrical panel plus this, plus that, it may cost you a fortune in money and health". We did not buy the house and it's all because of Brent. We are sure the agent's inspector would not have given us the flashing red lights. But we found and bought another house and this time Brent only found very minor issues. If we ever move again Brent will surely be the inspector we will call to do the inspection.

This was a regular condo painting project which I have once done before as a DIY but told myself at the time: "never again". My wife and I looked around and found Euromaster online. The owner came himself to provide an estimate. We chose him based on the fact that he knew exactly what needed to get done, provided a very solid written estimate with everything clearly spelled out, warned us about certain wall defects and ensured us that only he and his assistant work on the project which means he is present to inspect and ensure quality work. He did as he said. They spent 3 days in our condo leaving it liveable and free of tools every evening. Not only would I recommend Euromaster Painting - I have done so already to a number of friends - but I will call them every time I need painting done.
