Ideal Stairs did a great job recapping our staircases, which were in pretty rough shape. They were able to reinforce the stairs from the top to limit damage to the walls and ceilings. They were also able to refurbish the original trims and maintain the traditional stair look and feel that we wanted trying to preserve. They were able to get the job started a week early and finished in the exact number of days that they had told me upfront. Having had some pretty tough experiences with contractors over the past few years, Ideal Stairs was really a great company to have around and I would definitely recommend them for your project!

Sergey and Tornado Plumbing were great. They came quickly and assessed the issue. He was polite and patient, making sure that we had all the details before we committed to any expensive and destructive repairs. He was respectful of our home and put down drop sheets to protect the floors. Very highly recommended.

This is the second time I've used GK Electrical for a whole-home rewiring due to knob and tube. George, the owner, is a good electrician at a fair price. He is reliable and will work until the job is done. He and his sons do good work and don't cut corners. Highly recommended.

We used Nikko on a recommendation from a friend, and came out of the experience lukewarm to them. The movers themselves were good, and they moved everything pretty safely, but they did complain about needing to bring a truckload of boxes and furniture up a flight of stairs (a tough job, yes, but that's why we are paying for movers). The thing that turned us off of them, though, was that they increased their hourly rate and only told us about it at the end. When our mover called the owner, the owner simply replied that he didn't have the time to deal with the issue (we never actually spoke to him directly). Since we did another move a week before with a different company, it was easy to see the clear differences in attitude and professionalism. I'd pay a bit more for that.
