Todd arrived the day after my call, and he gave me an estimate for fixing two leaks: one a previously-repaired crack that had begun to leak again, and another located behind the drywall of a finished basement. I was impressed by his straightforward and friendly manner, and by his detailed knowledge of previous issues in the houses around mine. He was happy to answer all my questions, and the estimate was a reasonable one. Workers arrived on the next workday, and after removing the drywall they discovered that the problem was more serious than they'd expected; the previous owners had really botched their attempted repairs. After calling Todd in for a consultation, they went forward with the work, and even though it took twice the time to fix a problem that was more serious than they'd anticipated, they did it all for the price that they'd originally quoted. Afterward they gave me detailed advice about what I could do to mitigate problems in the future, and they were friendly and responsive from beginning to end.
