The You move me crew moved my husband and I on January 12th and we were very pleased with the guys. We had 3 estimates from other well known moving companies but chose to go with You move me based on my communication with Sean the manager who went out of his way to deliver the estimate to us and highlight the included insurance coverage which both other companies had as additional fees. 1. Communication was excellent: Megan from the office called two days before the move to check-in and she followed up when the job was done. the guys who came to the house were well spoken and kept me informed throughout the day. 2 Professional staff: all clean-cut guys, the lead guy named Dan was very personable, very strong too! (Ask for Dan if you can, tremendous help for me on move day). The other 3 guys were polite, although I didn’t speak to them as much 3. I had two horrendous items to move and they were handled delicately with no issues – one very large marble, oblong table (I was very worried about this piece) and a motorized, sunken theater style leather sofa 4. Service was delivered as promised – I will mention that the quote I received from Sean the day of the estimate did not land exactly – I was quoted $1672 for a four man crew to compete the move in 8 hours and it took 9.5 hours – so my final bill was slightly higher – but the guys worked their butts off and we hit a couple of snags that we couldn’t have predicted getting our stuff into our new place. Mother nature was not kind to us that day! So I did a lot of research before making the choice to go with You move me and probably chose this route based on the dollar number of my original estimate, although I was aware that the estimate was strictly based on time. I was given one flat rate price that came in cheaper than my final bill but after you add in the extra insurance charge it was likely a wash. I give these guys a 10 because I am pleased with the move and please share the praise with Dan so he knows we were happy with it all
