This is my second time using Anderson Windows (patio door 7 years ago - still happy with it :-) and they did not disappoint. I had 7 windows replaced and am very happy with their services and would not hesitate to recommend them. I had 3 quotes and they were competitive, they arrived when they said they would, worked diligently to finish the job in one day, and cleaned up after themselves, taking away all the old windows. I particularly like the awning window recommended by Dave for my kitchen. I will be using them again when I am ready to replace my doors :-) Thanks Dave and Brian for the excellent work.

I used Jim from Fluid Transitions to do the plumbing in my kitchen when it was being renovated. Jim came and capped the plumbing in order for everything to be removed and then returned to install the new sink and dishwasher. He arrived when he said he would, did the job quickly and efficiently and cleaned up everything when he was done. I was very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to recommend Fluid Transitions for any plumbing jobs.

I have used Joel for a couple of painting jobs including painting my hallway and two bedrooms and on a separate job my bathroom. I have found Joel to be an expert painter who does the job on time and on budget. He arrives and finishes when he says he will and the final job has been absolutely excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Joel (and I have!) for your painting needs. His prices are reasonable and his work is excellent!!

I used Handyman Connection for some electrical work because of other positive comments I had read on Homestars. Ian did several jobs for me including putting in potlights in my kitchen, installing my over the range microwave and replacing a chandelier in my dining room. Ian was prompt, courteous and very professional, completing all the jobs in a timely manner and cleaning up after the jobs were done. The final price was the quoted price for the job. I would not hesitiate to recommend Handyman Connections and if you need electrical work Ian is your guy

I used Hanyman Connection to have ceramic floor installed in my kitchen and hallway. The quote was honoured and the workman arrived as promised on time. The installation was not done right the first time and the grout continued to crack and break up in many places. The original handyman came back and replaced the grout a second time but the same problem recurred. I called Handyman Connection to complain and I must admist I was impressed with the way my complaint was handled. They sent someone else out to check the job and I was told the original job was not done properly and that person was no longer with the company. Though it was a big inconvenience to have the floor taken up and re-installed, they did do it very quickly at their own expense. I have a small amount of disappointment with the finished job because there is some difference in grout colour and the spacing of the tiles is off a bit because of how the replacement had to be done, but no one else would notice but me. I was very impressed with the way this company stood behind their work and would recommend them for this reason as we have all heard of people/companies who do not do this and with home renos this can be costly. I would use this company again

I used Envirotech to top up the insulation in my attic, based on other reviews here on Homestars. They gave me a quote which was honoured, they arrived on time and completed the job in a timely mannter. They also made sure to vacuum and clean up after themselves which was appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend Envirotech.

I chose Anderson Windows to replace my 35 year old patio doors., based on reviews on Homestars and I was not disappointed. They provided a quote for the job, arrived on time, completed the job in the time they said they would and cleaned up afterwards. I was very impressed with the service, the finished job and the price was exactly as quoted. I would definitely use them again if I was to replace any more windows.

I used Cyprico to resurface the cabinets in my kitchen. I was happy with the layout of the kitchen just not the colour which is why I wanted to just re-surface instead of replacing the cabinets. They replaced the cabinet doors, put crown moulding in place (which I love), and put in drawers where I only had cabinets before givng me plently of extra storage space. They also made some small amendments to the cabinet layout so I could put in an OTR microwave. My only criticism would be that sometimes they were slow to return calls causing a delay in the project, but I had selected Cyprico based on other comments on Homestars and was not dissapointed with the job they did. I love the final result and would not hesitate to recommend them.
