Had a furnace out problem in October that was somehow fixed for ~$300 that reoccurred in November just as the weather was turning cold. Could not get my regular company out so called a new service in 15 minutes was told my heat exchanger needed replacement and provided three options from $4K (repair) up to $13K (new heat pump package pre rebate). I tried one more service just to be sure - Bullet Proof. Sylas was out the next day, did a full review, even tested for CO2 leaks everything. It wasn't the H/E. I felt for once I really got my moneys worth. He narrowed it down to a $100 part that had blown (flame rollout sensor). Next day showed up with the new part and the furnace has run flawlessly ever since. Both he and his manager were great, responsive and helpful. So happy I called and save $000s on a new system to repair or replace one that was only 6 years old.

I had MWP repave my 20+ year old asphalt this past fall after having some stone work done around it first. I dealt with Jason over the summer who came out to measure while I was at work, and then dealt fully by email and text. He then provided a proper written / detailed quote which I liked as not everyone did. He was both responsive to questions and easy to deal with. In all I had 5 different quotes and while his wasnt the cheapest it wasnt the most expensive either. After a bit of review online (A+ at the BBB), reading other customer reviews, and looking at a neighbors lane who had his done 10+ years ago (which still looked good) I decided they were right for the job. End result looks great! My lane is pretty flat and they did a great job creating a slope and I can see how the water runs off and away from my foundation. A bit more on the technical side, most quoted me for HL3 and HL3A, Jason quoted HL3F. Really hard to find good online explanations for how each match up but so far really happy with it, it is dark and smooth and looks great - will see what happens in the heat of the summer. Overall, I am happy with the experience and result and would recommend them to a friend.

I had Blackstar replace my Soffits, Facia and Gutters this past fall and they did a great job - were very happy with the result. I ended up getting 5 quotes and did a lot of review on who to choose, and while not the cheapest (nor the most expensive), they were competitive with the others I felt comfortable with doing the job I wanted it done right the first time and was willing to pay a bit more for good workmanship and a company that would stand behind it. The one advantage they had over some of the others was they could do 6 gutters which at first looked really large but we love the way they cover the facia it all looks awesome. Pierre, who did the sales quote, was great to work with and very responsive not pushy and left me the time I needed to figure things out. The work was done over 2 days first crew ripped everything down, the second crew of 2 put up the new stuff. Was amazing how fast they were and the cleanup was done right. They did a great job and even did some fancy work around on one of the downpipes that kept it out of the way of being stepped on. Ill know more this winter with ice damning and in the spring with the rains, but right now I would easily recommend them to a friend.
