Frustrated and disappointment would describe it. I used and paid in advance for Dr.Green services early in 2012 for 2012 season only. The lawn by the fall looked in bad shape. In the fall, Dr. Green called to offer service for some kind of worms, mosquitos, etc. I called them twice to cancel the service and let the sales department (which calls in the weekends and evenings) know I am not interested in the service and to please to stop the service and remove me from future calls. The person I spoke to seemed to understand.
Surprise! I got the first bill for 2013. I called the and they asked me for the reference number. I do not have that but I did call them twice last year and also let the sales department know. Dr. Green's customer service said: well, our sales department cannot do that.
If a company does not communicate internally is not my problem but the fact that they feel they could auto renew without consent, EVEN AFTER, I called and talked to them is pushing the limits.
Even after my phone call, a young person came to apply the service three days later, this time I was home, and I stopped him from doing so. He said that he did not have the information and left.
However, I got the statement for the second application. To me this is not an ethical way of doing business.
Please be very aware of this companies practices. If they come to your property without permission:
1. Dr. Green would be trespassing
2. Dr. Green ethics are questionable and i would like somebody else (rather than the unpleasant woman in customer service) to explain why the obscure and doubtful process.
