When water started backing up in our basement, we called New Canadian Plumbing immediately, having heard how good and reasonable they were. That was an understatement! The two men who came to do the work were astonishing. It was -30 and they had to pur hot water on the ground to dig. They worked for almost twelve hours straight in the cold and mud, working late into the night. And they got it done perfectly. They were extremely polite and even though I kept trying to offer them an opportunity to get warm or take a warm drink, they declined and just kept working.

I have used this company for the past seven years in three different homes - unfortunately, always when there has been an emergency. Sergio is the best - he is honest as the day is long and works like a trooper until the job is completed. He knows what he is doing and is very thoughtful. He offers suggestions when asked, but focuses on his tasks. He has saved me many times and I trust him implicitly. I recommend him to anyone who asks.

First of all, Dan, the handyman of "The Handyman Dan" answered calls quickly, estimated his time well and and kept me apprised of when he would be arriving. His manner extremely pleasant. In addition, his diagnostic skills were excellent - he was willing to explain the problems and how he was intending to fix them, and then he fixed them on the first go round. And finally - he cleaned up after himself. I am almost afraid to recommend him as he is truly a gem and I would hate to have to wait forever.

I am also quite surprised by the reviews as my experience was so completely different. I have a child and wanted not to have to pack everything myself and then sit around with boxes for weeks afterwards. They quoted me a price, gave me a list of customers and did everything they said they would. Everything was packed and moved without incident and then two young women came in for the unpacking and my son and I were in our new home and in our new beds with everything put away our first night. Everyone was pleasant and they came equipped and ready to go. I don't know - maybe they have different crews, but I must have lucked out. And I have recommended them to others and heard nothing but praise. I would use them again in a heartbeat!
