We interviewed a lot of other waterproofing contractors (eight, actually) before meeting with Chris. He explained the process they employed and was frank regarding our options. He was professional in disclosing all of the work that was to be done and prompt in notifying us as to when his crew would be available. His price was competitive with other quotes we received, and we felt that the amount asked was in keeping with the work to be performed. We gained the impression that City Wide would be responsive and would honor its time lines. City Wide's crew was professional, courteous, and neat. They arrived on time, explained the work as it progressed and worked quickly to complete the job. Their thoroughness extended to re-seeding the grass along the patch of lawn along the front of the house and bagging and hauling away excess earth. They also managed to work around our brand new retaining wall without needing to dismantle or cut into it (steps that other waterproofing contractors insisted would be unavoidable).
