The lock on my front door was not working. The deadbolt seemed to work, but the key no longer turned it from the outside. I called Locksmith Care because of the positive reviews on Homestars. Dimitar returned my call before I could even leave a voicemail message! We set an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time (even offered to come earlier than scheduled) and had the job finished quickly. He had all the high quality equipment and parts at the ready and the overall price was more than fair -- in fact, much less than I was anticipating! Thanks for the great service! I was heartbroken this summer when a vintage clock I inherited from my father after he passed away fell from our wall, seriously damaging the points on the diamond-shaped wooden frame. I entrusted Jeff with the repair of the clock and held my breath, not seriously believing it could actually be restored. To my ever-lasting gratitude and delight, not only did Jeff repair the damage sustained when the clock fell (Jeff's repair work is literally invisible), he was able to repair a number of other nicks and scratches that the clock had suffered through its 50+ years of love in our family (as well as several moves). On top of all that he was able to clean the entire wooden surface and refinished it beautifully. It now looks as fresh and as beautiful as it did when I was a kid. Thank you so much Jeff for doing such a beautiful job. I can't thank you enough.

We feel so lucky to have found Joe! We've had mouse problems in the past and although we always called professionals, the problem recurred a year or two later. We thought this must be "natural" for an old house. When Joe arrived, he did a thorough inspection of the house inside and outside. None of our previous professionals had looked at the exterior of the house and none had been so thorough. Joe found -- and fixed immediately -- two holes in the brick exterior that were large enough for mice to come in. Of course he also thoroughly addressed the inside mouse problem as well, and will be following-up with us in 3 or 4 weeks to make sure the problem is actually solved (also a first for us). We are so impressed with Joe. He is well-informed and well-equipped (he even uses a "scope" to see into crevices inside and outside the house). On top of all that -- he's incredibly nice! We were worried that we might have mold in our basement apartment, so after some help from the Homestars site, we contacted The Healthy Abode to do the testing. We were so pleased with the service! Angelina was prompt, courteous and immediately put our minds at ease. In addition to the air testing, Angelina did a great inspection of the house, making useful recommendations as she went. As it turned out, we did not have a mold problem after all. But we learned so much from Angelina, and the professional lab report was delivered so fast, we are delighted that we found Angelina and Healthy Abode.

We called Dave to have him install baseboards in one room and also to apply trim to a pine shelf. Dave did an incredible job! Despite many awkward angles, electrical outlets and a fireplace to navigate (never mind un-moveable furniture), the baseboards were installed impeccably. Likewise, with his application of trim to our pine shelf. The trim itself was very fine and required precise cutting and fitting. He did an absolutely excellent job and also cleaned up afterward as well! We are so lucky to have found Dave; we have used his services in the past and his work has always exceeded our best expectations! Thank you Dave!

I am probably not the biggest customer of Stonehouse Property Care, however, how a company treats small clients I think is pretty important. And I'll just say I had an excellent experience. They did an amazing job of cleaning up our overgrown garden (front and back) and it looks incredible! They arrived early, worked late and exceeded all my expectations. At the end, they also took the time to thoroughly tidy up: all the clippings and weeds were bagged and the walks were swept clean. I highly recommend this company for their courteous, pleasant, prompt, efficient and otherwise all 'round great service.
