Jeff and his partner were very friendly and easy to talk to. It was great to get maintenance advice on the installed hot water tank. There were a few hiccups along the way which has caused my satisfaction to be at a "3". Firstly, they arrived quite a bit later (11:30am) than their quoted time (9-10am). They explained that they received an emergency call which caused the delay. Secondly, they realized that the hot water tank that they had picked up was the wrong one after they had already moved it downstairs and opened the box. The mistake was not theirs and they dealt with it immediately with their supplier. This resulted in about a 2 hour delay as they waited for the delivery of the new tank. During this delivery, Jeff was called away on another emergency call leaving his partner to carry the 50 gallon hot water tank down a flight of stairs all by himself with no dolly (we were concerned for his safety). Finally, they were unable to dispose of our old tank as they had forgotten a dolly. They returned the next day with the dolly and, while moving it up the stairs, damaged the wall in several places. He was very apologetic, and offered to patch it up for us. In the end, we have a newly installed working water tank (Bradford White) which is what we needed. Online reviews show average to poor ratings of Bradford White products, but hopeful that Eazy Peazy has the expertise to pick quality reliable products. And again, the staff were very friendly and communicated well. We appreciated their maintenance advice and they seemed honest and eager to do a good job. He stated that he stood behind his work and I believe him. I would suggest that they use furniture covers and floor coverings to avoid damage to future homes and we wish them the best!

Hi there,
We here at Eazy Peazy Plumbing accept your critic and I personally accept this as a fair rating as that day understandably went bad to worst. We try our best to be as excellent and careful as possible but we also do make mistakes. (& try to learn & grow from them) Once again I offer again to pay for any patch work or paint needed for the dents by the stairs. On a more positive note it was still a delight to met the both of you and even how bad the day went you two were very honest and patient. Hopefully we can have another opportunity to show you our 10/10 service! Thanks again. -

I have only amazing things to say about Barry and Scott of Artiste Renovations! After shopping around for contractors to do a simple bathroom renovation (vanity and toilet), I settled upon Artiste for the following reasons: 1. Great reviews on Homestars. 2. Excellent communication - Barry always emailed back extremely promptly (99% by day end) and was always very detailed with his communication. I wanted to get the best value for my renovation and Barry was always willing to provide me with pricing for various options. In contrast, when I was dealing with Independent Bath, they were not willing to discuss any countertops besides quartz and granite even though I was clear that I just wanted to be open to other less-expensive options. I ended up choosing quartz with Artiste in the end, but I appreciated Barry's respectful and open attitude when I wanted to explore cheaper options. 3. Pricing seemed very fair, and the quote provided was very detailed on what I would be receiving (e.g. product numbers and labour details). Scott was the one who did the renovation and I thought his work and professionalism were top-notch. Fabric was always placed down to protect my floors. And when I told him that my toddler was napping, he always walked carefully in front of my son's room, closed the bathroom door when he was working inside, and even brought some work outside to do! Huge brownie points from a parent's perspective! The only hiccup was some delay in getting the vanity right. The vanity was done incorrectly the first time around and resulted in the sinkhole being placed in the wrong place. Fearing that I might have to pay for a complete re-do, I contacted Barry and he completely put me at ease, explaining that Kitchencraft designed the cabinet incorrectly - he showed me his notes that showed he knew what the design was supposed to be. The entire vanity was redone at no additional cost to me and I was even able to tweak a couple details for the new vanity. While this did create a significant delay in the project, this was NOT the fault of Artiste Renovations and they handled Kitchencraft's mistake with complete professionalism. I am incredibly happy with the final result - Scott and Barry, you should be extremely proud of your business and the results you create. I would not hesitate to hire this group again!!

Thank you Jocelyn. I really appreciated your patience and understanding with the vanity issue. Other clients may have not been as gracious as you were and I sincerely thank you for that. I wish you all the best in the future.
