After several years of debating an ensuite renovation we finally moved forward in early 2022. We shopped around for reputable contractors and ended up requesting quotes from three. Kurmaks quote came in the middle, but it was the professionalism, ease of communication, reputation and willingness to work with us on design and cost that made us choose them. Frank was very flexible when we asked him to look at cost cutting alternatives and presented several options. The whole team was amazing and given we live in a condo with strict rules around work hours, garbage disposal and cleanliness, everyone made sure to abide. There were other renos happening in the building at the same time and our concierge was extremely pleased with Kurmaks professionalism and compliance. Paul oversaw the whole project and was meticulous in ensuring all the little details were done to perfection. Hes also fun to converse with! The work started while we were away in mid-September and finished just before our annual Christmas party in mid-December. There were no concerns about leaving the place in their capable hands. The trades were very respectful of our home and made sure that everything was cleaned before leaving for the day. Although we didnt use Lisas services often, the input she provided was right on the mark. She helped us with a few selections when we were getting confused on our choices. Its been just over 2 months since the work was completed and we are thrilled with our new ensuite and walk-in closet. The functionality, design and workmanship are better than we could have initially imagined. As I told Frank, my morning routine takes longer now as I luxuriate in my new surroundings! I wouldnt hesitate to use Kurmak Builders again, or recommend them to friends or family.

We were put in touch with Jesse through an interior designer we used in the past. Our built in wine fridge stopped working and the appliance company couldn't remove it. They suggested we needed a cabinet maker to remove parts of the cabinet. We got in touch with Jesse and he suggested we contact another appliance company as he might not be the most economical approach. We did as he suggested, but they couldn't help. We followed up with Jesse and he came on a Saturday after another job he was working on and managed to remove the fridge which 2 other men couldn't. He suggested some modifications to the cabinets due to the tight fit. Jesse wouldn't accept payment for coming that day. Although we didn't end up needing to make modifications to the cabinet, we will be using Jesse to refit our kitchen cabinets to allow for a larger fridge. He was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful.

We've been using MaidPro every 2 weeks for over a year now and all I need to say is "fantastic". It's such a pleasure to come home and know the place has been cleaned by someone that cares about it like it was their own home. Normally we're out of the house when Jenaye shows up, but on the odd occasion we get to see her and she's always smiling and pleasant. She knows exactly how we like things and we trust her emphatically. I've also had the pleasure to speak with Monica and Jean when I've had to make changes to the cleaning schedule and the service they provide is always professional and co-operative.
