I have a protection plan with Enercare and I am very glad. They provide quality and safe services for plumbing/furnace/AC. Without this plan it would be a nightmare for me to find a professional for every issue coming up.

They started to send me two separate bills for the same water heater and after following up for a few months and wasting numerous hours on phone with them nothing happens. Some of the agents are rude and keep you on hold for 30-60 min without coming back to let you know if they are still working on it. Placed dispute once and nothing happened. Complained again and got a reference number and nothing happened after 2 months. They frustrated me so much and have no way to get them resolve the issue. Simply, I am paying double for the rental and no body cares.

I had a doubt about so many good reviews for Royal Work and Homestars. But now can testify that the review section is a powerful tool to consider when hiring a contractor for a job like this. After I was hurt by other contractors doing waterproofing of my house I asked Royal Work for help and found that I had made a big mistake not to hire them to begin with. They came to my rescue and Anatoliy was very understanding. They are trust worthy, reliable, and honest. Their price may be a bit more expensive than other crooked companies in the business but they well worth it. I recommend this company to everyone.

I had windows in my house changed and the price was right. The service was done beyond my expectation and the installers worked hard around the difficult situations. After 3 years once I noticed I had a defective window handle, they sent a technician to fix it. The technician was nice and went beyond my expectation by going through an inspection of the window and making sure everything else was ok.

With a great regret, I hired Joe to do waterproofing of my house. He skipped many items of the job contract and refused to honor his own written contract. For example based on the contract he had to install a new sump pump but he refused to do so and said the old one is good. Before finishing the job he told me how much I owed him at the end after I had paid him a deposit. I noticed that he was asking too much based on linear footage of the work done. I asked him to do the measurement again in front of me. He did the measurement in front of me and it turned out that it was a couple of thousand dollars off. He reluctantly accepted to correct his number. Whenever I had to mention to him to follow his contract, he simply refused. Based on the agreement he had to dig under my deck for waterproofing and keep the deck intact and safe. Since I could not see under the deck he assured me that he finished the job under the deck and had taken pictures and asked me for full payment. From what I could see at the end, there was still some stuff remained to be done when he asked me to pay him. I told him that I would keep a small portion till he comes back and finishes the job. He insisted and I was trying to avoid an argue. My wife intervened and asked me to avoid him and pay him and hopefully he would come back. But I wish I had not paid him in full. He promised to come back to finish the remaining of the job and send me the report with pictures in 2 days and I paid him. But I found that it was another mistake. In two days I had water leak again and told him about it. He did nothing. I also called him and told him why he does not send me the report and why he is not coming back to finish the job and why he is not coming back to see that it was leaking again. I kept calling numerous times and he never showed up. Eventually he stopped answering our calls. Also, I found that he had ruined my deck and I had to remove the deck which was a damage of $10k for removing the deck and reinstallation. After I removed the deck I noticed that he had not done the waterproofing for half of the area under the deck. I had to hire another contractor and do this job again and pay big bucks again. After 6 weeks he came to my property only to ask me if I had written a bad review about him which I had not at that point and it must be the review before me. He asked me and insisted I remove my review.

I regret hiring RC waterproofing to fix my basement waterproofing issue. It started bad and ended in terrible nightmare. The company showed no respect for the home and customer. The work was started with a dirty workmanship not using enough tarps and the ones used were torn with holes. The workers peed in my backyard in front of the home occupants and littered the property with all sorts of garbage. Although he was supposed to take away garbage from the process he hid them where he could like behind my shed and under the deck, etc. When I asked him why he hid the old weeping tiles behind my shed he said “I thought you might need it”! He never came back to remove the garbage. He installed the sump pump so badly and so unprofessionally that anyone who saw it was amazed how someone could do it that way. The sump pump was installed at an angle and cropping out of the basement floor. He was paid right after he stated the job was done. I regret that I paid him before checking the result. It was in May and rainy almost everyday. In two days I noticed water coming inside my basement again. It happened after every rain. He did not come to have look for 10 days and after I insisted he came to have a look and he came only to tell me I have to wait more and my basement would be dry later. When this did not happen and my basement was wet all over he blamed the leak on irrelevant matters such as not having gravel under the basement floor concrete floor and said I have to dig out my basement and fill with gravel and then he would honor his warranty. He left and did not answer phone after that. I had more contractors for estimate after him and everybody was surprized at what a shoddy job of waterproofing had been done and laughed at excuses he had made for not honouring his warrant. It has been a big regret of my life. I had to hire another contractor to fix his problems.

He claimed to be a general contractor but did not simply know the difference between an actual water leak and water condensation. He tried to do everything himself and made a mess installing the tiles. When I complained he left and disappeared. My mistake was that I paid him partially but more than he had worked. Does not have an address and can disappear into thin air.

Valuable service considering the high cost of furnace repair and difficulty of finding a good technician. I am very happy that I signed up for this service. Fast response and helpful technicians.
