My first meeting with the Hudson Movers Representative was very impressive. He knew what items would need special packaging and the protection of crates. In his words, 'when you have been in this industry for long enough, you see everything'. This made me feel confident that he knew what his company would need to do to have a successful outcome to my move. Right from the packing of my dining room delicate items to the pots and pans and the small seemingly insignificant items, Hudson Movers took exceptional care with wrapping items so that there was no breakage. I had some large and extremely heavy items and moving them from my five story townhome was a significant feat. On the delivery end, everything arrived safely and as my sister in law stated after watching Hudson's men move all into my now 3 storey townhome - "I want those people to do my move - they didn't make a mark on any walls - I am very impressed!" The moving team work extremely well together and they are all very considerate and careful. They really went above and beyond what is required to make sure my move ended happily. They were also very cheerful and accommodating to any of my concerns, displaying empathy in what can be a very traumatic experience for the customer. I would definitely use them again for my next move.

I didn't know what was wrong with the garage door closing on a slight angle and making noise as it opened or closed, so I called Markham Garage Doors to come and look at the problem. It was one side - the pulley, which had sprung and was operating inefficiently. On a freezing cold day, the service representative came out and rectified the situation in 45 minutes. Quick, efficient and courteous

Damage done to Master Breaker Switch. Hi-lite rep came out and inspected what needed to be done, requested Hydro One to come out to shut off power from the street and fixed the problem efficiently. No requirement on my part except to allow access to the garage where the service was located. Professional efficient and courteous service with appreciation for your business.

This company has a $19. service call fee. Technician charged $20. for call and $139. to drill out a garage door release key which he said he 99% for sure could pick and not have to drill . The garage door was installed in the summer of 2013 professionally and neatly. The technician could not pick the lock as he said he most likely could and so went about drilling the lock out, which of course rendered it into bits. I had a new release key to match the garage door opener and so for $45. more, this was installed. Total of $230.52 for what seemed to be a simple job for a technician that really could pick a lock. Hole drilled in door is larger than new release key. Would someone please consider licensing locksmiths? There doesn't seem to be any way to know what will happen when a problem occurs. I think the charge for drilling a hole badly in an insulated door was excessive and am not really happy with the end result.

I have used Waterworks twice due to the first experience. I was renovating the bathrooms in the town and when the marble floor was installed, the plumber I used for the renovation, said the floor would have to be torn up as the drains were too low for the toilet. The marble floor looked amazing and that was the last thing I wanted to do. Called WW's and Larry came out and fixed the situation using his knowledge and skills. Used the company again when new tenants moved in and found the shower diverter was not working (broken by unhappy past tenants that I had to ask to leave). Larry had the skill and ability to take care of the problem without causing any stress to me or the new tenants who of course needed to have the shower work. Tenants and homeowner all exceptionally happy with the polite, thoughtful and experienced work done by Waterworks. Larry came a year later and checked all the plumbing in the house to make sure everything was working well and did not need repair - gratis. Exceptionally professional. They want your business and they work to please you in every aspect of the service they provide. They are the company I will call !

I had a new stucco finsih put on my townhome and there was need for a dripstrip at the roof to prevent water from affecting the new facade. This company was referred by the stucco company to help with this. They were efficient, neat, helpful and did a great job that I was entirely satisfied with. Their work finished off the new look beautifully. They cleaned up after the work was done, I paid them and they were off, leaving me with a very pleasing and functional result. I highly recommend them.
