Attic insulation/roof ice dams
Great value and honest workmanship. We got several quotes for insulating and properly ventilating a drafty 3rd floor attic in our old home in Cabbagetown that has been causing ice dams on the roof. Mark came out to take a look and was very comprehensive in explaining to us our options and how much everything would cost, item by item, and was straightforward to cut out things he felt we didn't need that others had advised - and he explained why. When the crew arrived (on the day after a storm), they found that the pot lights were already in insulated housing (saving us some bucks) but that a squirrel had chewed through a few wires, which Charlie fixed with some junction boxes. They were fast and efficient and cleaned up really well afterwards. Charlie even squeezed his body through the tiny access door instead of cutting a hole in the drywall, saving us more money afterwards. The cost was very fair for all the work they did and our tenants already feel a difference. Also, they connected us with a great roofer (DUNLOP) who installed a bathroom vent that was required. Very pleasant experience with people who truly seem to enjoy their work and take pride in it, as they should! Highly recommend both companies!!

And with retrofit work you sometimes done know what you are getting into until you get into a wall or space.
