We had OnWall slat system installed in our garage in April 2016. The work was well done and the crew followed up and corrected a few complaints we had. We only purchased a few accessories at the time because we wanted to use the space first and determine what we needed. Once we decided on accessories, it has been impossible to purchase the items. We have been trying for almost 2 years! We call and we email over and over with no response from Gavin or Ron. We want to purchase items from them and they don't respond. The slat system is just fancy wallpaper without the hooks, baskets, etc. Their phones are answered off site and the messages I leave are never answered. Very frustrated. Do not recommend. Go with one of the other Garage Organizer companies out there.

I contacted Rob at Duroshed and 3 weeks later I had a well-built, solid, beautiful shed in place. I researched other sheds including the build-it-yourself models from the big box stores. The price of a Duroshed is only slightly higher than a big box kit. A Duroshed is better quality and you don’t have to build it! We had a very old metal shed in our backyard. I contacted Rob with the dimensions and what I was looking for. He helped me confirm the design and sent me a quote and we quickly set up an install date. Duroshed installers required a proper base to construct the shed on – they don’t do the site prep. Rob was able to connect me with someone to remove the old shed and prepare the site . Mark and Chris arrived first thing the day of installation and got right to work. They were polite, hard working and did a great job. Five hours later, my shed was done, including shingles and a pre-primed exterior. Steve called me the day before construction to confirm the details and the day after to confirm that I was satisfied with the work. Duroshed installation does not include skirting so we still need to complete that. Also, the shed must be painted to make the warranty valid. So we’ve got a bit more work to do. If you are in the market for a new shed, I highly recommend Duroshed. They offer a great product and great customer service.

In Spring 2015, Metro Wide Paving installed a new asphalt drive with interlock border, interlock front walk and stairs, interlock side walk, flagstone rear patio and basement window wells. We are repeat customers. Joe did an asphalt drive for us 10 years ago. This time, I called other pavers/stone guys for quotes. I decided to go with Joe Zappia at Metro Wide for the following reasons: a) Joe stands by his work We happened to get a bad batch of interlock stone from the manufacture (no fault of Metro Wide). Pitting started to appear in the stones over the winter. Joe was here as soon as the Spring 2016 paving season started and he re-did the walk ways. b) The work is great quality c) Joe starts the work when he says he will, his crew works all day, every day until the work is complete. d) Joe's crew are polite and hardworking. e) Metro Wide's prices are competitive. And he won't try to up-sell you to work you don't need. f) When the job was done, my yard was completely clean with no sign the crew had even been there....well, except for the great new walkways. I trust Joe's experience and recommendations. I would use him again and refer him to friends and family. We've done quite a bit of work on our house and dealt with many types....Joe is one of the good guys.

Whenever we have need for a plumber, we call Mr. Rooter. They review what needs to be done and provide the cost before proceeding. Brian M. came today to assess issues with our toilets. He was very thorough and explained everything to us. I will call Mr. Rooter again.

EARLY ON A SATURDAY EVENING WE DISCOVERED WE HAD NO HOT WATER. WE CALLED DIRECT ENERGY. A FEW HOURS LATER A TECHNICIAN WAS AT OUR HOME. HE IDENTIFIED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS. FAST AND EFFICIENT! EVEN ON A WEEKEND!! THANK YOU.

Whenever I need a plumber, I call Mr. Rooter. A technician comes quickly, provides a no cost estimate and then if you agree to the work, performs the job quickly and efficiently. I signed up for the Advantage Plan years ago and take advantage of the lower prices. Today it was a leaky faucet. I requested John Dima who has performed work for me in the past. He came, he quoted, he fixed and left. Beautiful! And no more drips.

Arthur transformed our ho-hum backyard into a beautiful oasis suitable for adults and children. All our friends and family commented on our lovely outdoor space. Arthur designed and constructed a perimeter wood fence with gates, Trex deck with bench seating, stone walkway, raised rear stone patio and perennial gardens incorporating a fountain. It is beautiful, and also functional and easy to maintain. Arthur adhered to the proposed schedule, starting and finished when he said they would. His work is of the highest quality and his attention to detail superb. Arthur has great structural knowledge as well as a strong sense of design and aesthetics (as evidenced by his bonsai work). Arthur is a friendly and personable guy. He works with a great crew of guys, (Whenever we have worked planned for the house, my young son asks if Arthur and his men will be coming. They were so kind to him - chatting, explaining). Arthur also knows how to calmly deal with difficult neighbours! Arthur also has a connection for keeping your new landscaped space beautiful - his wife operates a garden maintenance company. We have since moved to a new house and have already had Arthur come by to look at our property. We will definitely call him and don't hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

This is our third time using Mr. Rooter. We are Advantage members and take advantage of the lower price offered to members. I like that the cost is very transparent with Mr. Rooter. They assess what needs to be done, look up the job in their master price list binder and tell it to you. It is not based on time, but project. Very straightforward. The scheduler on the phone is always very polite. We received a call saying that the plumber was on his way. I was happy that John Dima arrived to do the work. He did our last job also. He quickly diagnosed the problem(s) and fixed them before I knew it. He also performed the complimentary home inspection offered annually to members. My husband discovered a problem with the work and John promptly returned later the same day to correct the problem, free of charge. I will call Mr. Rooter with my next plumbing problem and I will request that John Dima be sent to do the job.
