I needed several new exterior doors. I decided to postpone the front door replacement - too much money for one year. I replaced the garage door to the house and the patio door, from French windows to a sliding door system to save space in a small room. The salesman really knew his stuff, was efficient and polite. I had some struggles getting the main client service line to respond to my request for an installation date, and reaching out to the salesman was key in getting a response. The installers and quality of product were great.

My 5 yr old Samsung dishwasher had been very smelly. The chopper/filter needed cleaning out - quite badly as it turned out! Mr. Lila used to do warranty repairs for Sears and I recalled that he had done a very good job on my Kenmore washer. He is reliable, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and pleasant.

The pipe just feeding into the water meter started leaking on a Friday, and the speed was increasing. We had to turn the water off at night. I called late Friday night and again Saturday morning for emergency service. Michael was able to attend early on Sunday afternoon and replaced the old washer. He also provided advice on flow and blockage issues in my 45 yr old house. Fast and efficient.

My new roof was installed in September 2010 (including removal of 2 layers of old shingles). The price was great compared to the other quotes I obtained, for better quality shingles. This representative was the only one who talked about steel parts, as opposed to aluminum which is easily peeled back by raccoons. The job was done on time, in a day, and the area was totally clean.

One night I heard banging noises in the house which I finally narrowed down to the furnace room. After searching on Home Stars I called Snap at 7:30 am. Jim showed up at 8:20 am. He searched the room, checked my dryer, then opened up the furnace where he located a dead mouse. He installed wire mesh on my hot water heater, furnace and dryer vents which was much appreciated. Unfortunately he forgot to switch the power back on for the furnace and A/C so I had to call someone else to fix that. Oh well. nobody's perfect.....

I obtained 3 quotes from established, top roofers. I was impressed with the extra features provided by Desi's in terms of quality of materials. Their price was by far the lowest, and even included high quality architectural shingles. The work was done quickly, on time and the property was completely clean afterwards. Only a few flowers were sacrificed.

My 10 yr old fridge was acting up. Glen replaced the fan and cleaned it out but that did not fix the problem. In the end I had to buy a new fridge because he was baffled, but he came a second time, at no charge, to replace the fan again and look for any other cause. I don't believe that appliances can last forever....
