I reached out to several companies to demolish a plywood shed in my backyard. Ray, from Junk King, was quick to respond and gave a very fair price for the work. A few emails later we had a date and time booked. Ray and his team of team of 2 other guys showed up right on time and were extremely professional, efficient and courteous. It was an extremely hot summer day, and they still managed to take down the shed in a little over 2 hours. Other companies had estimated 3 or 4 hours for the work. They loaded up all of the debris and even swept up the small stuff, so the area was totally clean. When the work was done, Ray called me over to show me a problem. The shed had been anchored with nails to the concrete paving stones, and there was no way to pry out the nails without damaging the pavers. Now with the shed demolished, there were around 10 nail heads sticking out in various places, which would have been dangerous for my kids to play around. I wasn't sure what to do, and Ray advised me that the safest approach was cut them off with a grinder. Then he offered to have his guys come back a few days later and do that for me. And that's exactly what they did. I really feel like Ray and his team went above and beyond the call of duty to do a great job, making things safe for me and my family. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again or recommend them to a friend. Awesome work!

Recently the 3 way dimmer switch in my basement stopped working. I opened the switch to see if I could replace it, but quickly realized that I was out of my depth. I contacted H Man electric based on their great reviews on this site. They were quick to respond and the electrician arrived exactly when he said he would. The electrician was very professional and friendly. He quickly replaced the switch and got everything working again. The whole experience was very pleasant and hassle free. I would not hesitate to call them again.

I worked with Kourosh of Mafico Air Inc on 2 occasions, and in both instances he did an amazing job! When I first bought this home, Kourosh came in to add an outside vent for our clothes dryer. He arrived right on time, and was extremely polite and professional. He worked quickly, drilled the vent hole through the concrete, and installed the vent cleanly and professionally. Then he went above and beyond. I had some water pooled on the floor of the furnace room, so I asked if he could take a look. He found the source of the leak and fixed it in a few minutes, free of charge. I was extremely impressed! The next time I called Kourosh, was a bit of an emergency. During the holiday season, 2 days before my son's 2 year old birthday party, our furnace stopped working. I called Kourosh and he came over the next morning. He replaced the heat sensor and got our furnace up and running again. And then he stuck around while I went out to buy some new air filters, so that he could show me how to install them properly. Every time I've dealt with Kourosh, its been great. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He was very knowledgeable, and open to giving advice and answering any questions I had. As a new home owner I'm extremely happy to have someone like that to call when things go wrong. I would not hesitate to reach out to Kourosh again!
