Security System for Elderly Family after Home Break-In
Several years ago, we hired Engineered Alarm Solutions Inc. (EAS) to install a Monitored Alarm System, Security Cameras, and Home Automation (Deadbolts, Thermostat, Lighting Control, etc.) in our new home. When we purchased the home, it came with a pre-existing security system that was frustrating to use, had recurrent false alarm issues, and we needed to find a new company to install a reliable and better quality system. Our experience with EAS was extremely positive and we have been pleased ever since. This month, my parent's home was broken into at night, while they were home sleeping. This was a terrifying experience for them. The next morning we knew exactly who to call. Within that same week, Gabriel had completed a site visit at their home, assessed the areas of weakness, and provided a price quote. We were also able to schedule an install date quickly. My parents are in their 80s and not technically-savvy. EAS made the system hi-tech for security purposes, but yet manageable for them. In particular, EAS installed a "panic button" in their bedroom that will alert the police/fire if there is a future emergency. We are also able to remotely view their cameras and Arm/Disarm their Alarm System from our i-Phones. This is a great way to ensure their safety from afar. Gabriel's extensive knowledge of engineering and security are unparalleled, but his kindness and the way he personally cares about keeping each family safe is what I value most.

We usually recommend the installation of panic buttons because the home invasion rate in Toronto and GTA has increased in the last 5 years. In addition, your parents can also use the panic buttons in the event that they do not feel well to notify our Monitoring Stations about the emergency situation.
