I hired lawnsavers in 2017 and the service was good, and you can even read my previous review. But this year is an entirely different story. I am a repeat customer but after this year, I will not be. They came for the first visit, before the ice storm in April (April 11, 2018). For those of you who remember that was April 16, 2018. After which no one showed up! I kept calling, and no one attended until June 25, 2018 !! The weeds had already germinated, and sprung out, I purchased my own weed killer to apply. In July they rescheduled and when they finally came out, they said they couldn't apply the weed control product. The technician had told me because they had no van, but in the email it says since they didn't want to damage the grass ! Absolutely horrible service! To sum it up, I will not renew with them, as they don't seem to be coordinated or they don't care about repeat customers.

I'm very sorry that your experience this year was not as positive as you had become accustomed to. As you mention, the weather plays a large and crucial role in the ability to provide an effective application and we make adjustments throughout the year to compensate for that including adjusting the types of applications and the schedule for when those will be most effective. This year we experienced a freak, late ice storm that kept lawns frozen for 9 days in mid to late April, followed by an unusually hot and dry early spring that lasted right through to the end of August. This is bad news for growing "cool-season lawns" in the Greater Toronto Area!
When it is too hot, we need to delay and adjust service as there are risks to applying certain products when the weather is excessively hot. I'm sorry that this was not communicated to you clearly. We absolutely care about all of our customers and I would like to ensure the remainder of your program meets your standards. I have hired LawnSavers because I wanted to get control of the weeds in my front and backyard. We had fresh sod installed last year, and I don't want the weeds to get out of control. From the point of sale, I have called twice to get my invoice/contract both times the rep on the phone they will email it, but i have yet to receive it. Other than that little annoyance, they've been out to the property once, but their weed control is ALREADY working. In a week I've seen the weeds wither away, while the grass is slowly returning and turning greener. I will keep my review updated as the season goes on. Hopefully they will get me my invoice soon ;).

We had our laundry room faucet which was leaking, making a constant noise, and obviously wasting water. Mr. Rooter came to fix the problem, and within one hour everything was done! Thanks!

I had used Payless to move our family belongings from one house to the next. I had two weeks to move from one house to the other. I did it that way so that it would be less stressful. We agreed on a flat rate after Peter had visited. The Good: The team consisted of 3. They were professional, had everything ready to go at the time given. The not-so-good: They were supposed to cover the bigger furniture items so that no damage was done. We had discussed and agreed upon that a month prior to the move. The day of the move, they did not cover anything except for two-three items. The bad: Our furniture, specifically our sofas, with leather handles were torn. Torn very badly, and now i have to get them replaced. Those sofas cost $800 a piece, and now are an eyesore in the living room. Overall, the lesson is GET EVERYTHING in WRITING. Especially if you are planning a big move.

We take pride in what we do and we are good at what we do.In the event that there is any kind of damage to any furniture that we move we personally send it out to get evaluated, repaired or replaced .we were not contacted about any damages not in the first few days or weeks nor months so this is a false accusations as we stand behind our services and customers

I got solar shades and roller shades installed in our new house. The product looks beautiful. Ameer and Ramona were very professional, honest and helpful in the product selection. They stuck to the timelines that they provided. And from the date of the estimate had everything installed in three weeks. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.
