In 2015, I had two bathrooms reno'd right back to the brick in an almost 100 year old house. Nothing here is ever straight forward, and in the 7 years since, we've had some recurring problems with drains and water leakage. The pandemic put my "get stuff fixed" schedule off, so I had a bit of a list to get through. Rob/Galaxy were referred to me by a trusted electrician. In spite of the fact that there were numerous problems, each one not cut 'n' dried, Rob came through. And he watched out for my dollars, always looking for solutions that would work without busting my bank. Grateful to him for putting up with the difficulties of an aging house, pleased with the results.

Unexpected discovery that I needed to replace the small permanent storm windows that protect the original leaded glass windows on my almost-century old home. Was referred to All County Aluminum by the manufacturer of the glass. We had a little misfire at the beginning, because my emails through their website system were not getting through (always follow up those online form things, they just aren't the most reliable). Once we got past that, Serge from All County was as good as the reviews indicate. He was out to measure and quote in the time he promised, which was pretty swiftly, and the work was delivered within the promised time frame. While storm window technology hasn't changed much, he did make some recommendations and suggestions that were helpful. Service was neat and clean, on time, and a reasonable price. Can't really ask much more than that!

Veli is very engaging and responsive. I dealt with him at a previous company, and was pleased to hire him with his own company, Canturk. He is fair and honest, and the work is good. He doesn't try to upsell you, he gives you options to consider until you find the one that works with your budget. His pricing was very fair and I felt he was far more honest than a few of the other quotes we got. He wasn't the lowest, but he didn't price it stupidly, either. (By which I mean when contractors quote ridiculous prices because they don't really want to do the job, but if someone is willing to pay that much, they will! We get that a lot because we live on a main street.) I would use him again, without hesitation.

On a hellishly hot day, when most of us preferred to be sitting down with a cold one, the lovely 1-800 team of Daniel V and Max S arrived to clear out a dead treadmill from my basement. From the minute they pulled into the driveway with big smiles on their faces, to the super careful way they worked to get this gargantuan piece of useless machinery out of my basement, they were lovely to have on the job. I am not a first timer, and my previous experience made me a little hesitant to call again, but 1-800 redeemed themselves with this team. From the time the decision was made, to the removal of the offending piece, less than 36 hours passed. Well done, team. Thanks for your great attitude.

Just had my third and fourth Fujitsu ductless air conditioning units installed by Air Treatment ClimateCare. They also installed my furnace system (boiler) a number of years ago; that's how I started with them. Denise, their prime service woman, has been doing this a very long time, and knows her stuff inside out and upside down. She will go the extra mile to make your installation the best it can be, both from functionality and aesthetics. Air Treatment's follow up in installing and servicing this equipment is also always done with care and attention. I have been dealing with them for almost 20 years, and I keep going back. Must be a reason for that...!
